The Worst doctrine of JWs- Ressurection and Paradise

besides the facts that one needs to take numerous verses from the ot and nt and smash them together to make this theology (which works out to a modern day zorastriaism) the whole concept is realy horrific.. first it teachs that your life is worthless and should be exploited until the next one in paradise/or heaven.

second it teachs that you dead loved ones are still around either in heaven or jeblooper's memory.

so don't greive.

The deaths by suicide ,the deaths by refusing blood Transfusions,on pain of being Disfellowshiped ,refusing organ transplants in the early day of the policy ,this happening worldwide should be of serious concern for governments around the world surely ?

I`ts all unnecessary and a waste of human life ,that includes the unborn and the mother,right across the board from youth`s to the aged folk.

We have different organizations here in Australia to prevent suicide ? Are they aware of how many do so because of religious controls put upon them ? I will ask them .

Phizzy ,and that`s what truly amazes me is that Jesus, supposedly being who the world claims he is, never wrote down a single word ?

And the Bible claims that if everything Jesus talked about would fill volumes ? how come nothing he ever said, he didn`t write about ?

Jehovah GOD did not see fit to record Jesus own words from his own pen ? For future generations

If what he said was so important for future generations ,why did he not record it ?

Moses supposedly wrote 5 books ? The greater Moses wrote nothing ?

All we hear about Jesus and his sayings are from 2nd ,3rd, and 4th hand me downs.

Who very well may have had their own agendas for writing what they did.

Pretty poor if you ask me.

I Just sent a letter to the editor of a national newspaper .

i wonder if it will be published ?

i asked when would those responsible name and shame those institutions that have refused to join the redress scheme and if it was a one off event or are they going to continue to do so.. that was the gist of the message .it was to the herald sun newspaper printed in victoria and distributed nation wide.australia.their are about 5 institutions that have refused to sign up ,4 of them are very small institutions and the jehovah`s witnesses are by far the largest body refusing to join.. those of you in australia keep your eyes peeled to the herald sun to see if it gets published or not..

There is no such thing as "THE" Bible. It is a library and there is a number of different collections. Just consider the number of books in the Ethiopian Bible and in the Orthodox Church's Bible.

No one ever voted that the Protestant list is correct.

And Jehovah`s Witnesses adopted the Protestant list of the Bible that was voted on by the Catholics to be included as the Bible Canon.

Go figure !

well known norway elder and watchtower doctrine apologist, (rolf furuli) was disfellowshipped a few days ago for the crime of expressing opinions contrary to some watchtower dictates.. like wt leadership in the past, they have no problem eating their own..

Old people who have invested there lives in the organization / religion will die in the religion .I`ts been indoctrinated into them ",where else can they go ?"

The younger generation today being born in`s are no different to any other born in`s to a religion ,that`s all they know ,I was brought up a JW I`ll die a JW. / I was raised a Catholic I`ll die a Catholic.

I`ll wager that there are very few young JW`s if any who could defend the religions doctrines using the Bible.?

They are not interested in doctrines.And they are now not taught in any meaningful way how to defend their faith.

Disfellowhipped for not wearing facemask?

yup - person has done nothing wrong.

but they have called a judicial and from what i can tell refusing to wear a facemask is bothering them more than the person not turning up.. so is this new light?

Who are the Elders to dictate to a person to attend a judicial committee and also to dictate they wear a mask ?

Finding a mate

so here i am 44 yr old divorced and free to remarry jw sister....first time single since i was 19. but guess what no single brothers in my area.

i’ve tried those stupid jw dating sites and still no luck.

oh yes there are tons of single brothers, but guess what...they all expect a hot barbie to come running into their life.

Historicity of the Prophets

for many years i have sought to understand how the bible was put together.. thus my name on here.

i started out more or less in line with what many schoolars felt in both old and new testament studies and over the year my notes have flucuated with dates and probable authorship.

a few years ago i slid into minimalist or copenhagen school understanding of the texs but still retained a slight historicity of the prophets.
