He obviously didn`t think much of the GB`s view on higher education by the look of things .Maybe theirs a niche here to do an anti-JW-witness with an obituary ,nah I don`t think so.

Will you be giving a 'Witness' when your name appears in the obituary?
by was a new boy in'he remained faithful to jehovah up to his death.'.
i guess that means he never got in trouble with the elders.. .
'he enjoyed spreading the good news about god's kingdom and helping others...'.

What’s Your View On Self Defense?
by minimus inif someone comes to you with a knife or a gun, would you defend yourself if you could?
if someone tried to beat you up , would you physically engage, run away or just try to talk the person out of beating you up or robbing you?
if you did have a gun to defend yourself would you shoot to kill or would you simply aim for the ankle to incapacitate the person?

I think I know enough vulnerable points of the human body to make my point clear to any intruder, eyes, throat, groin, knees, elbows, standing on their both feet and leaning forward with your elbow across his/her throat etc, etc.
Maybe i`ve been watching too many violent movies.

What was the defining moment that started your becoming a JW ?
by smiddy3 inlet me explain what i mean: i was in the company of a workmate when i looked at my hands and my arms and pointed out the veins and said something like look at that, isn`it amazing how veins and arteriies circulate the blood through our bodies ?.
he later explained to me he wasn`t sure what he should say to me as we had been working together for about six years and he had never once brought up about his jw background .he was what we would call a weak witness and he considered me a street kid who swore and drank too much.
i was twenty years old at the time.. i can`t remember the actual conversations that transpired ,but thats what started me down the road to becoming a witness and then convincing my gf to join me and about two years later we were married in a kh.. can you point to any one thing or conversation that started you down the road to becoming a witness?.

Obviously this OP is for converts as it doesn`t apply to born ins.
Before becoming a JW I used to read a lot of Mickey Spillanes books and after becoming a witness read somewhere that he became one just by reading a Tract that was left under his door.
What was it that started you off ? I`m curious about how converts became involved with Jehovah`s Witnesses.
If you care to share .

Watchtower caught lying about the real reason Beth Sarim was built
by Diogenesister inanother incredible catch from a you tuber, this time jane doh, who caught watchtower fooling us again, this time over the reasons beth sarim was really built.. of course we knew rutherford lived in beth sarim during the winter (ostensibly because of his poorly chest🙄).
however even we didn't guess he blatantly got the poor jws, or bible students as they were, to cough up from the proceeds of their book sales enough to buy him a "cali-fornication" mansion (for he & the girlfriend😜) with absolutely no pretence (at the time) it was for the "ancient worthies".that came later.... how did she know?
because at the time it was built, in the 1920s, watchtower had no belief that anyone was to live on a "paradise earth" - they had not even formulated the concept of a paradise earth yet for the ancient worthies to live on and believed all jws were to live in heaven.
