we all know that things are all going to be way different when we get through this milestone.. like hurricane katrina, people survived this but new orleans even 16 years later is way different.

our economy is like a shark that must keep moving through the water.

stop it and it will die.. the witnesses like many people in the world, have little to no savings.

I didn`t think the religion could get anymore crazier than it already was ,but surely any sane thinking person would draw the line at dressing up in your Sunday best then to sit in your own living room watching a televised version of a JW meeting .presumably to keep from talking while the meeting is on as it would show disrespect for Jehovah`s arrangement .?

Or should I say the GB arrangement who presumably now speak for God. ?

Could you imagine Joyce Meyer Ministries asking something like this of their TV viewers?

Or even Jimmy Swaggart `s Ministries asking believers at home to dress up in their Sunday best before sitting down to watch their TV programmes ?

How do you think they would be viewed if they had done this ?

Jehovah`s Witnesses are identifying themselves as a CULT like never before .

individual memorial portions

this year locally the memorial will be broadcast to the congregation using zoom software.

it will be a video broadcast, however no one locally will be partaking, so what arrangements are needed for bread and wine?.

local elders plan to deliver small portions of the bread and wine to each household ready for the celebration..

when they quote jesus saying 'keep doing this in remembrance of me.' They have made the ritual of PASSING the bread and wine the important thing instead of partaking. the only reason to pass the bread is so someone down the line can eat some. but JWs feel that unless they PASS the emblems they have not been obedient to the christ.

So true Dubtown and I only quoted this section to drive home the point of how CULTS think and act.

"we must obey god rather than men" act.5:29 has sure been discarded now and the gb are obeying the united nations world health organization and shutting down all of their "witnessing" operations ,very effectively i might add.. instead of boldly proclaiming the kingdom message as they used to blow there own trumpet about obeying god rather than men they are now more in fear of what the superior authorities will do to them if they don`t obey them.. this is something nobody banked on ever happening least of all the governing body of jehovah`s witnesses that the preaching work would come to a standstill .. of course they will put a spin on it ,that there protecting the health and well being of their members and the public.. but the fact remains they are not trusting in jehovah to protect their members nor are they trusting in jehovah to keep the "worldwide preaching work" going.. what do you think ?.

Trump and the old guys on Capital Hill are truly delusional if they think things are going to get back to normal in two or three weeks time .Where everybody goes back to work and the Covid-19 lies down and goes away.

He has to make sure everybody has money every fortnite to be able to go to the supermarkets to get basic food and essentials and then go back home and isolate yourselves till the next time you have to shop.

Look whats happening in New York ,that`s going to happen in every Major city in the USA if Trump relaxes restrictions ,he needs to increase restrictions otherwise you will end up like Italy and Spain.

Be safe guys heed the restrictions.

millie210 ,sadly the young think they are invincible and if they do get they will shake it off because they are fit and young .? How wrong they are ,the young can die just as easily as anybody else.

Your right the powers that be should stop all unnecessary travel from anywhere to anywhere ,its ridiculous to allow such movement around with this active virus .

The sad truth is more people will be infected and more people are going to die needlessly .

As far as the name Jehovah is concerned I have to concede that the Roman Catholic Church certainly believed and accepted it, because its written in stone on Centuries old Churches as well as being in the Douay Bible .

As far as the OP goes how about

Counting time in field service?

JW Clergy sponging off the congregations and not earning/ paying their own way ? Especially the top dogs who live very comfortably and their wives also ?

Construction Projects During "The Final Part of the Final Part of the Last Days"

luke 21:11 11 and there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.. .

mr. lett: if these are true signs of the last days, why does the society continue these expensive building projects?

why not delay these projects and help all italians who have lost their jobs and are struggling financially during this pestilence?.

The GB of Jehovah`s Witnesses are more concerned about their building projects in Italy than they are concerned about the health and well being of the Italian citizens of the country or even their Italian fellow members / brothers and sisters.
