The longer this religion goes on the more ridiculous they have become.
It frustrates me that more old timers don`t want to see it .close their minds and bury their head in the sand .
i certainly have , over the normal week i go to one of two clubs where i have two beers over a couple of hours ( i pace myself ) and catch up with a few friends .
one of the clubs every hour goes around to disinfect everywhere people make contact with pokies /machines or whatever we might touch.and they also now have limits as to how many can be in a certain area at any one time.and that applies to both clubs ,except one does not disinfect every hour.. today, their were far fewer people in this particular club that i attended that is usually bustling with patrons on a saturday either drinking gambling and socializing .not today.
and a strict rule of how many could be in a certain area at any one time .. and i agree with all of this , its necessary .and i will be monitoring my own activities as need be.. what have you noticed in your neck of the woods.?

Yep,yep,Yep, your right JeffT , now i can`t believe how stupid I was ,in my early conversion I read some of the older publications ,i think Riches and The Harp of God ,but I got sucked in by "the light gets brighter and brighter" as the day goes on or some other BS.

I have no respect today for those particulary older ones who still to this day defend and promote the WTB&TS / Jehovah`s Witnesses religion .
Especially with their history of failed Bible prophecy`s ,re-writing their history ,and the availability of all of their publications on the internet and the very availability of knowledge that is available to anybody at a click of a keyboard .
Their is no excuse for them in today`s society to be ignorant of the fact that they are just another man made religion that found its roots in the late 1800`s not unlike many other American man made religions of the times .

eyes 2bad ,i think the WT/JW religion has been dishing out a lot more shit in their 120 years than the 4 horseman ever did these past 2000 + years .
i saw a post on reddit from somebody claiming to be an elder that the jw religion wants to contact all inactives.. some of the responses indicate that some were contacted or had close friends or relatives being asked for their contact information.
some of these people have been out of the jw religion for many years and have moved on.
the ones contacted said the jw informed them about cancelled meetings (as though they would care).
The missus and I have been out for 27 years although we still have a niece sadly to say i had a big part bringing in and she is still "dedicated" so far we haven`t heard anything.
