  My thoughts mimic yours.

  When i was first Df those wicked worldy folk took me in. Both literally put a roof over my head and emotionally supported me.

  And point 3. Lived in my current house 5 years neither me nor my neighbours have had a jw visit. But just the other day i heard the letter flap go and it was a memorial invite being put thru the door. They dont even knock! They act like the kebab house and just drop a menu!

  delighted to see that my old congregation seems to have had its kingdom hall taken in the worldwide money grab.

  eccles, manchester.

  hall was in swinton but no longer appears on jw.org and the cong seems to be meeting in urmston.

  Even my old KH for sale...

  i happened to be in my old town last week, i decided to drive past my old kh in n.wales,.

  to my suprise there was a large 'for sale' sign hanging off it!.

  this is a semi-remote area with the nearest other kh's a good 30 mins in every direction.

  did anyone else have really lazy people in their congregation when it came to the field circus.

  people where i live are shamelessly lazy, they drive door to door even when the houses are 3 feet apart!

  yes even in town houses they drive door to door.

  Me and another pioneer (also now df) used to get territory cards off the elder who looker after that stuff.

  We would pick the areas furthest from where we lived and walk there. Count the time and then walk back as it was now too late to do any knocking "street witness" there and back.

  But mostly we ate mars bars and put the world to rights.

  HELP! - Asking for Baptism photos for university art/personal documentation project (they will not be published or made public)

  i'm new here, but i've been an ex-witness since 2015 (not disfellowshipped, faded and inactive but no longer believing) and i'm working on an art/personal project gathering the bapstism photos of many different ex-witnesses.

  i am asking that anyone who feels comfortable with it send me (private message me) their photos that they or others took on the day of their baptism (before, after, or during).

  i will not post these online anywhere or publish them.
