Why is Jesus Depicted as the Warrior at Armageddon on just a Horse with a Bow and Arrow ?

the wt depicts jesus, the all powerful one to destroy evil, being depicted as using a bow and arrow from a horse.
that seems like something from medieval times.. in todays world of nuclear bombs, precision laser directed bombs and advanced military technology, does a bow and arrow really put a fear into anyone?.

by new boy inthere have been many but i had a total melt down at the end of sophie's choice.
i hadn't cried in years before i saw that movie in in 1982. i was still very much a jw at the time.
i have no idea where the pain and sorrow came from, maybe it was the fact there are things people have gone through that we have defied all reason logic.

So if jesus is the mediator for the 144000 why are the so called great crowd ( normal baptized Christians ) praying through jesus name.They are all praying through the wrong channel of communication.Has this can of worms been explored in its entirety?
