lm getting conflicting advice.ls it the 144000 or jesus.l was always under the impression it was jesus.lf its the 144000 then when they pray the jw;s should be praying through the remnant not in jesus christs name but in the 144000;s name.

The mediator between a make believe god and the JW worshipers is the governing body of JWs in its present form.

They tell you how to behave, what you can study, what you should think about and how you should react to everything. It’s all in print, or online, or from the mouth of a CO or overachieving elder.

Jesus and the Revelation according to John is irrelevant.

If we were to ask a knowledgeable non-anointed JW who their Mediator was...what would they say...honestly?

I'm not sure if the literature has clarified this point.

Bible = 1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"

From the JW Insight Book = He (Jesus) mediates the new covenant between God and those taken into the new covenant, the congregation of spiritual Israel (144,000).

What does this circle of logic mean? The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society has set itself up as the mediator between man (any member of the great crowd) and God. This is in direct conflict with what the bible teaches on all levels! To JW's Jesus mediates the new covenant between God and only the 144,000 anointed JW's.

So how does that make you JW's feel to have the WT remove Jesus as your mediator between you and God?

At your next meeting at the KH look over at that bat shi$ crazy anointed brother/sister and know that Jesus IS his/her mediator and NOT yours....and do this while reading John chapter 10.

I thought all the time it was Jesus. But then my sister said no, only the 144,000 get to have jesus as their mediator because well, they are the anointed etc. The other poor sheep, are supposed to wait for the "brothers of Jesus" to intercede on their behalf because, well, they're just the other undeserving sheep. She said this after she realized it was hooey.

Jesus is the mediator for the anointed, who are limited to exactly 144000. According to the WT the New Testament is primarily for them.

Everyone else, aka the great crowd of scum needs to grovel before the governing body . The bible is not actually for them, nor is Jesus their mediator.

They rarely print this but it’s basically what they teach.

    What 2+2 said.

But seriously do we care what the just around the corner religion says?

We should ask a JW how that makes them any different from a Catholic who prays for the saints to intercede with God on their behalf.
