  hi i've been a jw for 12 years and got married 2 years ago.

  i'm now separated.

  my husband hid from me that he suffered from depression, extreme anxiety issues and a personality disorder.

  do whatever you think is necessary to continue serving Jehovah. Move far away from --

  the idea that your life should be focussed on the wt slavery aka serving god. You are doing yourself a disservice that way. Sooner or later this former torturer of yours will succumb to the urging of his hormones, and you would be wt free to remarry. but why let yourself be ruled by those artificial, even barely biblical rules?

  Your trouble is, you might seek out (without realizing it) the same personality type again. Take advice of many counsellors.

  The Creation of Genesis Chapter 2ff

  i had long held the piece of the jigsaw puzzle which starts at genesis 2:4b – the yahwist’s creation story.

  i knew that its authors had never heard of lamarck’s theory of evolution, nor had they read darwin’s “origin of species”.

  the authors were addressing their own immediate culture, so i had to transport my mind to their times.

  Breaking: Walt Disney Studios buys out JWs.

  in an all cash transaction, disney has purchased every share in the watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, inc.. their most recent in a slew of acquisitions including pixar, the muppets, marvel, lucasfilm and most recently 20th century fox, disney plans to "leverage their preexisting infrastructure and fan-base" for future content.. removing robert ciranko, who took over for don alden adams in 2014, disney is installing as president john lasseter, who already helms both disney and pixar's animation studios.

  recently disgraced and on leave for allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct, disney said he was "just perfect" for the job.. plans include making yearly theatrical films with post-credits scenes as part of a crossover shared universe with preexisting watchtower film characters like caleb and sophia, the prodigal son, the roman family and the bad worldy boy from school (with nicholas king reprising and expanding his role), as well as an educational disney jr. show, "little chuck", aimed at toddler's, hosted by a young version of ct russell sporting a pretend beard..

  i just saw the video below and thought 'no way' !!!.

  but then given the obsessive amount of rules they have, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that this was at least considered.

  if there is some credibility to this, then they most certainly have gone beyond the pale!.

  and then today, i completely agreed with someones first few sentences of a post.

  waton why would you want to know? so you could give that person the electronic stink eye? lol

  lostwun: no, But would prefer to respond to any sticky issues, which can be done if there is a pertinent comment, post, reply, rather than just a click of the mouse. and truly, I like dislikes. nothing personal, often the issues discussed are serious enough to merit strong responses.

  There is this theory that the perception of time's duration has to with how long you lived already. It could be a feature of nerve deterioration with age. If there is no aging in the PPP, that would be a terrible drag. think of how long meetings were when you were 8. In the new world we will be young again? , the drag re-introduced.

  It obviously did not occured to the writers then , and to the anointed generation generators now, that this doctrine is deeply flawed. The anointed are participants in the execution at the end, and therefore have to be dead and resurrected well before this old system winds up. and D. Splane said so. charted that for us. so:

  Squirreling away old world artifact would be in order.

  think of it. The only rebellion in the multiverse tolerated for 7000 years, and never allowed to develop again, would not want to be forgotten without a trace, even as a curiosity. even just one airplane. because what is the worst of the new scriptures, new world commandments coming?
