was he not a famous pilot before the age of reliable aeroplane instruments?

seat of the pants visual flight rules might be exciting, but will it make for a safe landing?

I once had a veteran military pilot as a passenger, he had only limited vision left, and asked him to take the controls while I was filming with my 8mm camera, When I stopped, the plane was in a div, better than in a stall though. so?

keeping your real yes on the horizon, reality, goes a long way to allow you to enjoy your flights of fancy keenly perceived by your eys of the heart.

Is it better to have a false hope than have no hope?

just got the news.

a very close classmate of mine met an accident and died last nite.... just 4 months after i da'd from the borg.. if i am still in, i wouldn't be so sad.

he has the hope of resurrection.. but now that i am out, i realise that resurrection in paradise is all bullshit.. so what's next?

Part of the grief is that the person that died does not share life with you any more. sorry for the life lost, cut short. so, should not the sharing of time, life without your friend be more precious, albeit emptier? Masking the loss by belief in unproven promises, is missing the point. impressing the uniqueness of life and consciousness, to live it to thefull, carrying it forward. not a comforting idea , but a strengthening I hope. and I hope.

Loesch is Austrian, served in the Southern Alps, looking toward Italy and sunny. The arms of the galaxy are in turn moving around as well. Its like a beautifully orchestrated ballet.

HS, I know you do not like the negatives, but the arms of the galaxies are almost stationary, standing waves. it is the material that is orbiting the center, and moving through them.

Fits your analogy though, certain features of history remain, different entities, empires move through the same stages, pressures, creations, etc. interesting.
