Thank you very much once again!
Best regards,
the watchtower witch-hunters are still sending out subpoena's and closing down websites.
it is safer for simon, this board, and us if we send out internal confidential documents privately.. from time to time i will let you know something has arrived that you might want.
just send us a "pm" and we will give you the download links.. you do not need to include any personal information.
Thank you very much once again!
Best regards,
i was searching for something on the wt online library, and was struck by all the requirements a jw has in order to be "saved".. want to see a partial list?
all these found by searching for "salvation depends" on wol.
just do all 26 things, and you too can be saved!.
Well, since May 13, 2019, JW has a new baptismal questions, it is enough to answer "YES" to first of it: (1) “Have you repented of your sins, dedicated yourself to Jehovah, and accepted his way of salvation through Jesus Christ?” and voila, you are saved!
currently there are 3 types -.
awake 3 issues a year / 93,354,000 printed per issue.
watchtower 3 issues a year/ 93,281,000 printed per issue.
The most majority of printed issues lies in garages, basements and attics of JW and kingdom hall storages. I had to move a few times in my life, and each time i had to get rid off a dozens of kg of magazines, maybe thousands of copies. Each time all that paper ended in recycle bin - no one wanted it, in kingdom hall they said they have more than enough spare copies, same as other JW i asked. I am inactive for almost twenty years and i still got one cabinet full of literature. I wonder how much of that xx millions of copies 'reached the market', but for sure it is shameful waste of money and resources. Going to full online editions and reducing physical printing to minimum is only way to go. They have nothing new or smart to remain printed anyway.
it was amusing the other evening on the local news to see the increase of drinking due likely to people having to basically stay at home.. the news crew went out on recycle day in a couple of areas during the week.
they showed the general neighborhoods (but not the specific houses).
the reporter walked down the street and looked into the recycle bins.
Wonder how A.M.III get his weekly supply of Macallan...
while i sit here watching my extra-pimi wife on zoom.
i see her go into the jw trance, duel personality at it's finest.
it is so creepy to watch this religious personality come out.
Congregational meeting is one and only social interaction for the most of JW, so it is natural they want to see and to be seen. Trying to look good on screen means shower, shaving / make up, dressing up, all good habits which could be easy neglect during quarantine. I can understand that Zoom thing as a sort of comfort for the most of JW.
I'm inactive for almost twenty years, but i dressed up and put a tie for this memorial and attend with my pimi wife and her mother (our camera was off, like always), it meant a lot to them in these circumstances, no matter they know that i'll never be back again. I look on JW as doctor look on patients, if you cannot cure them, then just try to easy the pain.
this whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.
if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.
even the cults who committed mass suicide were able to dress the way they wanted for their meetings.
Like this? :)

About Zoom thing, our congregation started testing last week, and it was said that we should be dressed as if we were in a hall, but that is also a personal matter. As far as i could see, some was fully dressed, some just put a tie on shirt they wear at home, some had camera off or point it to the ceiling, some use computers without camera, some just use phone dial-up. Everything goes at the moment, we will see in a couple of weeks.
just received a text yesterday...lovebombing to return with so called proof of the gt starting...scaremongering at its peak!.
"hey.
missing you at the meetings.
It is just about June 2020 Watchtower study articles:
Study article 25: August 17-23, 2020. Why do some who have served Jehovah faithfully for years drift away from the congregation? How does God feel about them? This article considers answers to those questions. It also discusses what we can learn from the way Jehovah helped some in Bible times who temporarily drifted away from him.
Study article 26: August 24-30, 2020. Jehovah wants those who no longer associate with the congregation to return to him. We can do a lot to encourage those who want to accept Jehovah’s invitation: “Return to me.” In this article, we will consider how we can help them to do so.
So, everyone of us here should be prepared for love bombing in next months...
hey guys,.
i'm out of the jws for 12 years now and stopped thinking about the whole thing a long time ago.. but recently, i wondered how jws deal with corona?
i've read on the forums that they suspended meetings and tried to hold them online.. but are they still doing field service?.
Field service is suspended in my area (SE Europe) as well as all meetings, all activities are via electronic devices until further notices. And, yes, some of the comments can be summarized to "that's what we waiting for..."
so we are a couple weeks into this crisis with the meetings being cancelled.
and you would think the fds would have provided the sheep with helpful spiritual guidance in these times of need.
wtf do they have jw broadcasting for then?
People are more interested in toilet paper at the proper time, IMHO
