well 2 years later do we see the slightest hint of the nation's declaring peace and security or going after religion?

It's really too bad that the Org doesn't commit to a date like they used to do. They can just play this game of hanging the carrot in front of JWs with this endless notion of the big A being just around the corner.

In my last discussion with my JW sister, i asked what she thought a reasonable amount of time is for the big A to happen and after some pressure, she said that 10 years is a reasonable amount of time. The problem is that 10 years go by and people barely realize time flying by. Before they know it, they will be 80 years old and their entire life was spent waiting. How sad.

Since only a handful of fish are euryhaline, it would seem that the majority of the fish species would have died off in the flood.

So what? God was totally fine with killing 99.99 percent of all land animals. I'm sure he would be ok with doing the same with the fish.

the donald has recently suggested that he would like to look into buying greenland from denmark in the same manner that alaska was purchased from the russians.

i think the danes would be smart to look into selling it as it is costing them money every year with very little returns for their investments so far.. the alternative might well be that donald declares greenland a national security threat and invades them so that the world remains safe for democracy.

i would suggest to the danes that as any other real estate transaction that they put it on the open market and see how much russia or china are willing to offer .

a canadian woman not too long ago said to me (spontaneously - i did not bring up the subject) the following words when she heard the live tv news broadcast, which dealt about the immigrants being held at dozens of detention centers in usa: "i am canadian, and i have been living here illegally for 29 years.

Exactly. That is actually the answer to the original post. The United Status enforces the law really only at the border or within 100 miles of the border. Immigration agents are not really combing the streets looking of illegals.

So because they only apprehend people at the border, in this case the southern border, it's normal that the detainees will be from Central America.

Illegal immigrants who are white, typically arrive via plane, and have a visa that let's them into the country, and then end up staying illegally. As far as Canadians, same thing. They don't need a visa to get it, so they just get in and end up staying illegally.

this doctrine / belief that jehovah`s witnesses have , surely raises a few questions that they do not address.. 1.this spirit being challenged god by questioning his authority and offering eve an alternative making himself satan.. and this took place on earth ,the garden of eden.

so he who became satan had access to the earth.. 2. all throughout the old testament , the hebrew scriptures do we find examples of satan interfering with gods plan of things either by himself or his followers .. 3.their are just too many examples to list individually ,however a few key ones would be , the nephilim , job when god in heaven asks him where he has been , and his reply , from roving about on the earth .

, etc.etc.. 4.and of course in the new testament , where jesus is taken up into a mountain to be tempted by satan for fourty days ?.

And why exactly does God needs to acquiesce to Satan's challenge, especially if this means it will cause suffering and despair? This is what JWs teach... "Oh Satan challenged Jehovah about the ability for humans to live their lives without God"... so what?

If you have a kid and I go up to you and I challenge you that your kid cannot be fed, clothed and taken care of without your help, will you then throw your kid on the street and tell him "Sorry son, someone challenged me about your ability to live without me. Have a nice life. See ya, and prove me right".

The whole thing is incredibly stupid.

Anyone who believes the news from the major outlets can be trusted is seriously misguided (with all due respect).

This is typical hyperbole that is not supported by factual evidence.

If this is true, then out of the hundreds of news pieces found in the New York Times, for example in the last week, it should easy for you tell us 3 FACTS reported by the NYT that are factually incorrect.

That same silly argument could be made, that someone must have specifically placed that piece of candy in the exact position so that it woudn't melt.
Nobody placed the earth here. It just happened to be the planet that developed in the right region of the solar system and this facilitated the right conditions for life. There is a big difference between reporting news from a specific angle or with a bias, and completing fabricating facts.

When CNN or Fox News or the New York times, report on something, it can be trusted that the FACTS reported are probably true. They just report on things from a specific angle.

So if CNN for example, has 10 news items about Trump and 5 are negative, they will emphasize those, and perhaps only mention the positive ones in passing. FoxNews would probably do the opposite.

So this is not about calling Fake News to any news that is critical of you, like our buffoon-in-chief does. It's about recognizing that actual truthful facts can be reported with different biases and perspectives.

And the bigger question is... why is there a need to hide at all? They have been teaching that eventually after destroying all other religions, the authorities will come for them, at which point Jellohoba will step in a destroy them all. So why hide?
