  i'm probably going to say some things here that will disappoint many.

  there are some that may look back over the years and say "man i really blew it" i'm not writing the following to scold for failures, but rather to help those who are young enough to put into practice what god wills for their life, and also to those of us who are in our middle years that still have time to change some things, in order to please god and find a peace that only being in his will can bring.

  just thought id let you all in on some info i found on northeasttruth.com.

  that magical moment where the moon blocks out the sun!

  but only just enough to perfectly cover the suns disc, whilst still allowing us to see the corona of light and other electromagnetic forces radiating from it.. this only happens because the moon diameter is exactly 1/400th the size of the suns and is positioned at exactly 1/400th of the distance between earth and the sun!so, when we see it from the surface of earth, we are in the only place this can ever be seen, at the only time it could ever happen.

The fish typically live in pools of water made by the roots of mangrove trees. When those pools dry up, however, the fish “flop their way” into rotten branches, using tunnels dug out by insects.   Three details make the killifish discovery particularly interesting. The first is that the fish apparently alter the biological make up in their gills to allow them to essentially breathe air. Their gills retain water and nutrients and excrete nitrogen while they’re in the trees. The next is that the fish which are normally tenaciously territorial over their pools lose their aggressive ways and live peacefully, jam-packed together inside the rotten branches. Finally, while living in the trees the mangrove killifish give up their devotion to a humanistic branch of Catholicism and convert to devoutly Orthodox Judaism, complete with the hats and the curls.   my "anointed" roommate told me a good one today.

  as we were discussing psychotropic medications, she brought up a friend of hers who was recently forced off of "benzodiazepine" (there is no one drug by this name; rather, it is a specific classification of drug).

  she claimed that many people are being forced off of the medication(s) due to "concerns over side effects," and that her friend is suffering from withdrawal on top of whatever symptoms the drug was previously helping to control (she didn't elaborate and i didn't feel comfortable asking, sorry).. my roommate then went on record to say (i'm paraphrasing here) "this is why armageddon has to happen very soon, because satan is using this system to make all these people suffer psychologically to drive them into the streets and go crazy.

  Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?

  over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?

  my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.

  i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

  Question for science geeks

  do any of you know anything about prescription medications and their reactions?

  the doctors cannot explain why but i react to everything they prescribe to the point that now all my doctors are attempting neutral remedies before medication.

  tomorrow i am having surgery to drill a hole in my head to put in a titanium rod and we are doing local instead of general simply because it lessens the amount of needed drugs.

  Not even your doctor knows what reaction you`ll have,until you take the medication..

  Google the name of your medication..

  It will give you a list of possible side effects for that medication..

  That`s about the best you can do,until you actually take the medication..
