  each eye-opener in my awakening had nothing to do with apostates.

  it was always by looking directly at the so-called spiritual food that helped me awaken.. in 2019 they changed the wording of the second of two baptismal questions which are answered aloud before the audience.

  now i realize that these questions have been adjusted over the years.

  If the questions changed then the dedication is no longer valid. My baptism therefor is now null and void, thus meaning I no longer subject to disfellowshipping.

  i was that you don't defend yourself against violence.

  I would imagine if an axe murderer walked onto Bethel property the Watchtower would call the police knowing full well the police may shoot and kill the axe murderer. How does having someone else use deadly force to protect yourself absolve you of being "blood guilty"?

  The Watchtower is rather hypocritical in this aspect.

  More Doublethink from the religion more dynamic than an IP address (i.e. they move the goal posts a lot).

  David, the man who would have the Messiah come from his bloodline, begins his career as Jehovah's appointed ruler over Israel by slaying Goliath with a shepherd's sling. You know, the ancient ancestor of the firearm. David goes on to be King of Israel and is lauded for slaying tens of thousands.

  "But that was righteous warfare ordered by Jehovah!" says the Watchtower.

  Well, either using violence is righteous or it is not. Mistranslating Murder into "kill" doesn't help the cause either.

  I am all for non-violence and non-violent resolution. I also know that some people are just out to hurt others and to let that happen is a greater wrong than using violence to stop them.

  there is a proverb that speaks of four things as never being satisfied, as never saying, “enough.” sometimes jehovah’s witnesses, as they listen to congregation servants discuss field service, may think these servants could have been listed as a fifth class that never says, “enough.” it may seem that they are never satisfied, as they urge better meeting attendance, more home bible studies and increased door-to-door activity.

  to have servants who say “it is enough” before the work is finished would be disastrous to the congregation.

  20 Years Occupying Afghanistan, Nothing Achieved

  so the occupation of afghanistan is coming to an end and, as predicted, they achieved absolutely nothing in that 20 years apart from:.

  the death of 2,300+ service personnel and tens of thousands more seriously maimed or injured.. handing $billions or even $trillions of taxpayer dollars to defence contractors (so the military industrial complex wins, even if the military doesn't have a clear victory).. has this lengthy but short-term military occupation really changed anything in the country?

  it doesn't appear so.. i said at the time that the us wouldn't have the staying power to enact real change.

President Biden said private citizens would need F-15 fighter jets and not AR-15 rifles to defeat the U.S. military. How ironic that Biden was already in Federal office before the Vietnam war ended. A war in which Vietnamese rice farmers defeated the mightiest military on earth, the U.S. military, with AK-47s.

  What's the difference between an AK-47 and an AR-15? An AR-15 will hold true past 100 yards. In short, a civilian organization with small arms who are willing to die for their beliefs will defeat the best equipped army any day of the week if the nuclear option is not on the table.

  does anyone know what video he is referring to, or is this an upcoming loyd evans exclusive?.

  i find leaks exciting, especially if it's something that was never meant to be public and puts some serious egg on the faces of the blundering body..

  A doctor was accused of malpractice, the jury didn't impose any penalty on the doctor even though he was guilty. The lawyer after the trial asked the jury WHY didn't they imposed any penalty on the guilty doctor?
  The jury replied. BECAUSE THE DOCTOR WAS CUTE.

  Mr. Splane - Please site the name the case is styles in (e.g. Jones v. Jones) and cause number? What's that? Can't seem to find it? Shocking! Perhaps it got stuck in one of those crocodile infested rivers your members cross to get to the meetings?

  I faded. I did not want to play by Watchtower rules. I owe them nothing.

  I was an uber-dub from birth. I was appointed a Ministerial Servant at 19. I was given every "privilege" there was. I had parts on the Circuit Assembly programs and conducted a Book Study (when they had them). I faded and no one cared. It seemed my father was the only one who even reached out to me.
