They are getting no money from me anymore. The extent of my lifetime cash donations was well less than $100.

Overall, a great experience. NCL does a great job. We were with a group of 12 people and all got along.
Stops included Florida Cape Canaveral (I did not get off the boat), Sturrip Bay (an NCL owned island), and Nassau. We had plenty of time floating on the sea eating like pigs.
I would do it again, but probably not for a few years. Does anyone have hints or suggestions? I have a few, but would like to see other insights.

JWs MUST Accept The Watchtower Teachings EVEN When They Are Wrong!
by minimus inisn't it unbelievable that a jehovah's witness must accept whatever the organization says or they can be disfellowshipped??
unless they tell you that their understanding has changed, you cannot believe anything unless they say it's ok. .
many years ago i questioned them about their ridiculous view that whenever the word "heart" was mentioned, it was a literal blood filled organ.

Keep in mind that they believe in "present truths."
They disregard old light. Thus, they believe everything they believe...until they don't.
As goofy as this sounds, it represents the belief system of a cult.

to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH
by oompa inand i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.
but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .
how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?

Dental Implants and Positives/Negatives from Anyone?
by LV101 ini'm sure there's residents onboard here that aren't afraid of them (like i am!
) and the megadoses of antibiotics taken after the minor surgery.
seems the meds need to be taken since a foreign object has been inserted into the bone (titanium) which the body accepts (really?

I broke a tooth early this year and am in the middle of the process of installing an implant. This week I had a post drilled into my jaw. Surprisingly not painful at all. It has been 2 days and no pain.
The next step is to add the tooth. The complete process is at least 8 months, if not longer. It is best not to rush; you need time to allow your body to heal.

I know of two instances where people were df for attempted suicide. Talk about compassion, unbelievable.

Episode 8 - Get Out Of Her, My People - It All Came Tumbling Down - Is Now Out
by dubstepped inepisode 8 - get out of her, my people - it all came tumbling down, is now out.
this is a long one and the next to last in my story.
there comes a point in life when you know too much to ever go back to the person you once were, or to the cult that you once called home.

Dubbstepped, I grew up in Richmond. I remember going to Louisville for the District convention. This was a long time ago, in the 70s.

How old would Br. Franz be today if he overlapped himself?
by waton in`~39, and ~ 59+ years more to go .
-
NewYork44M
Mark Sanderson GB, currently 52. If he lives as long as F Franz did then that is another 46 years to go - 2063.
Have you seen a pix of this overweight middle-aged man? He is one pork chop away from a heart attack. They are on thin ice if the basis of their theology is him living into his 90s.
