The issue is going to break our family apart in the next few weeks. My wife is going to sign the legal notification to let the JWs deal with the affair if blood is needed. I will not accept someone making decisions like that about my family so instead of hoping it never happens I would prefer to have some upset and a divorce rather than having everyone angry upset etc if we do get to this issue. I didi warn her. My wife has changed so much she is now just pig headed. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Hi I have never been in the organisation but have had to start my life all over again more than once. I would advice writng a list of things you have to do...ie work and living duties etc then write a list of things you would like to do even a holiday you would really like.
When you go away on holiday or a trip you are surrounded by people who are also away from home...you tend to make friends easier that way. One step at a time. I realise it is hard but people honestly the majority of us are not like what the WT say we are.

Power of attorney of transfusion issues in the UK
by trailerfitter inhi you wonderful people, i have a serious question.
when my wife finally gets baptised will she have to sign the power of attorney over to the jws automatically or this a voluntary thing?
i am concerned being a none bleiever that she will undermine my authority on this issue.

Thanks interesting and I will do that. I got my partner to show her hand today about what she wants to do....I asked first about the document she is going to sign and if she was going to willingly sign it. She said yes she would and the reson being that she doesn't want to loose her place in heaven. Forget the rest of the family who she will hurt badly if someone else has to decide life and death situation for her....that emotionally effects the whole familiy.. We are heading for divorce as she will not see reson.

Would you rather live under Islam or WT?
by shakyground ini've been reading alot of info about islam and people living under the yoke of islam lately...omg.
people being put on death row for speaking against muhammad, people being killed for blasphemy even after being found innocent in court.
an unarmed man in pakistan shot over 20 times by his own bodyguard because he spoke against the blasphemy law they have.

I'd choose neither.
Why is it we are given so few choices? choose god and go to heaven or don't believe and burn in hell... not much choice at all. The is much said in the UK about this but by only a few who are branded racists. The UK government are bending over backwards to be multi cultural whilst young muslims are causing problems inc. crimes such as rape. They are backward and represent the true face of a retarded belief in God. God is cruel.
WT is not cruel but I often wonder what would life be like if there had been some sort of Armageddon and god was ruling and the JWs were the only ones left. Would anyone who had an impure though be killed instanlty on the spot by the ruling powers? What would the Gb do if there was no secular laws in place to restrict actions of the corporately insane??

" After all, you are taught that only baptised people have the privilege of unrestricted access to God in prayer, and when you are baptised, you will too". Really?

Watchtower teaching have all the bases covered?
by trailerfitter ini am not sure if you are aware of the proposals by pastor micheal stahl who wants to get a register of atheists started so they activities like boycotting their businesses can be engaged in.
i mensioned this to my jw wife who already who i am trying to show that the wt policies are just a nutty as other american religious influences however she just retored that this is the sign of the end because there is a war going on.
i cannot get through to her and everything goes back to her newly found belief being the only true one.

Good stuff! our teenage so went to give blood the other day as a rebellious act. I think perhaps a giving act misguided but he still went ahead which is with my approval. He looked into the church of Satan on the internet and said he wanted to buy their bible...this perhaps is not the right way to approach this but he is dead against her joining that DAMNED church and wants to show her what she is doing that is against the whole family. I have tried all sorts except being interested simply because I am honest, it makes me boil over at the thought of them actually wanting jehovah to execute his plan. What ever I say or show it has an answer prepared which is not her logic... This is why I put the post up because it is indeed a firewall.
Although I am on here asking questions we avoid talking about any issues however after reading some of the article about the "mentally diseased apostates " Personally feel that something needs to be done....but it is futile isn't it?? I am just wholly shocked about the wording of the article in general. It is attacking everyone including mainstream religion. This just angers but again to get angry is a sign that someone is under the influence of Satan. Again the "Wicked Watchtower of the West" influence. It's Sunday and she'll be going to the congregation this afternoon. The food served for her is vital and can't live without it.

Yeah Yeah bird food . I was wondering if they got training on mass body clearance and JCB digger driving. Nuclear power station shut down proceedures etc but I was told Jehovah would take care of all of that after the event.
So in a nutshell there won't be much change other than obligation?

Calling all "Mentally Diseased" Apostates!!
by serenitynow! inlol!.

i am pretty curious to see how the congregation comments on the material.

I just can't read all of the article,..... It is so boviously bias........ it goes on about chrisendom and the false stories, Christmas and holidays and how unclean it all is. The more I read the more I realise that the organisation is evil.
I feel so angry about the fact that they say we are either mentally ill or under the influence of Satan. Hasn't history and science proved anything?? I remember as a child being appauled at something on TV which showed that girls with cirly hair had the mark of Satan and were evil.... this is almost WT thinking...
The was a 300 year period in history that hindered people and put most in fear of being persecuted becuase of the little theory of Satan and witchcraft. Lest I hope it never happens again. Why are the WT so twisted??

Hi thanks for posting this and I got a tit bit of information. I am not a member of the church but the partner is. I will not go to the KH but I get to see videos that they make of the sermons unfortunately. I am under the impression that they all lead to the subject of Armaggeddon on every sermon but perhaps I am mistaken??..
What my partner denies and I know now that you have confirmed it, they think we are under the influence of the Devil..This to me is very important if it is being said at the kingdom hall often they this is what she will be believing.
I hope things work out for you EI.

No seriously,...What are their responsibiliies and what if any,...planned route in the organisation. I am under the impression that a baptism is a special event and not held at the KH> This member to get baptised is a woman?
