this is a rant mainly in response to my wife's reaction to the stupid clam meeting last night.

bear in mind, while i am not sexist, i am also not politically correct.

.... it is no secret that the women in this organization outnumber the men.

I have a lot of family in Germany and they are very anti-JDub so whenever something like this comes out they send me an email or whatsapp message so what you posted must be quite common cause there is a JDub old age home in northern Germany near Travemunde run by a JDub family. Anyways my one cousin knows a JDub that works there and she said that they are making so much money it is crazy! And by law they have to accept other religions but they make it more difficult for them so they don't like to stay because then they are preached to. Says it is a kinda scammy how they do it and they do not treat them well. Then again sounds like every old age home I have ever known myself!

as most of you know i have been shunned by my family for 2 years because of a photo posted on facebook of me kissing another girl at a party.

the matter was not dealt with fairly but it is over now and i am 100% certain that jdub org is a cult.

but i miss my family so much.

Hey clambake all good points I am definitely aware of! :) I doubt I will even be there for more than the first or second memorial after I am reinstated. I will simply tell them I have to take care of my sick elderly father (wink wink Geoffry Jackson) and can not stay too long here. But I will put in my time as average time which is what now? 10 hours? Yeah, they deserve nothing but lies. I am still going to college so I will do my homework there.

Finally heard a Dub defend overlapping generations

since the overlapping generations doctrine was introduced, i have found the jws i know to be uncharacteristically silent on the subject.

i can't remember hearing a single dub try to defend this idiocy.

but that all ended recently.

Thank you but I feel that I need to do this now before I have children which I am planing on right after school. I am 99% sure of it. My personal integrity has not been compromised. I am acting just like the governing Body does when they read letters to their slaves that "we are financially good but please send us money and we are stopping building work because we are doing more to advance the kingdom and not because of money but again please send us all of your money as soon as possible." Fuck that. This is my own version of theocratic warfare.

Do most ex JW's go politically left?

i've found it interesting that- imho- most of the politically vocal ex-jw's at this website seem to lean left.

i'm personally pretty centered- right on some issues, left on others, but overall have a pretty cynical view of all political/religious leaders.

i find it somewhat ironic that people who leave such a dogmatic group like the witnesses become so politically dogmatic.

I do not like to get involved with voicing my political stance too much especially here on a JW site but I have always been center-left since I was a young JDub just because of my sexuality and openness in general to gay marriage and celebrating alternative lifestyles but now as I watch my country and other western countries turn to a big shit bowl and forget their heritage and let Muslim invaders walk right in making their homelands unsafe for the native citizens I find myself leaning to the right. My boyfriend has alwyays been very conservative on most issues and definitely on monetary issues but he predicted that as we let in more and more Muslims into our country we will see more and more terrorist activity. It goes without saying not all Muslims are terrorists but if just 1% are then we have a major problem and losing just one American life because we want to open our doors to all of them is not acceptable. But I have read too many polls to see that the majority of Muslims want to enforce Sharia in western countries and feel sympathy for the terrorists because they are doing what Muslims are told to do in its purest form. I have a lot of family ties to Germany and Sweden and they are getting pissed off with their political leaders who are getting more and more involved in middle east politics and then at the same time welcoming more and more of the same people they are displacing. They are traitors. Instead of looking out for the interests of their own citizens first they pander to the Muslims like we owe them something and we get thanked in return by terror, violence and fear in our own homelands. No way. That is why I am leaning right this time around like my boyfriend. The left has abandoned their duty to the citizens first and are now traitors. After what happened in Paris and Cali I am more determined to vote for whoever is going to take action without being politically correct. We simply do not have time for that. Forgive the rant but my cousin's classmate was one of the injured victims in the Paris attacks so this is too close to comfort as it could have been him instead. As my aunt says all the time to me that most people will refuse to look at the danger and take action for fear of being labeled a racist or nazi but they change real fast when something happens to them personally.
