Dear still wondering;

Great sympathies to you our friend. Some here are too shocked too write over your your loss, and the conclusion you've reached. So for them I send you this comfort. We commend your strength in this difficult time, and thank you for your bold statements.

It takes courage for victims to face their abusers, and call them what they are. This incorporated cult of men are truly guilty for spreading confusion across the globe, as to the use and non use of blood; which has resulted in many deaths. It's a matter of personal application of the scriptures, and a loving relationship with God. So the employment of “peer pressure” and “fear of the elders” is; thus an “abuse of power”.

PS: Is you go through the grieving process, please continue to blame these men, and not God.

Here's a brief on the article:

Opening; “Recently, a lot of current and former Jehovah’s Witnesses have increased their calls for reform in the governing body of it’s Watchtower and Tract corporations.”

Similarities; “Armstrong had been successful in the advertising business and stated: “It was a training such as one could never receive in any university or theological seminary.” His long solitary studies in the scriptures (not the Bible Student’s book) gave him the idea that ”legalism” was it’s interpretation. Herbert also read Seventh Day Adventist literature, circulated “The Plain Truth” magazine, ran “The World Tomorrow” TV program, and founded ”The Ambassador College.””

Closing; “Splits are bad for all parties; but for victims of cultic abuse, it’s a major advent for change. It will create a better church, many [more] of them and allot of confusion for the faithful. They will have more options and be freer. Yet these babbling groups will still be parts of false religion, all be it even more confused then ever!” -AwareBeing

I became inactive, am in good standing, aux. pio ., former m.s.

and quit attending a few years ago because of all the bad things being done to the flock.

At the same time, I was becoming aware of their teaching's dualistic nature;

"new light" vs. We're not inspired!

Then hiding their sex scandal, NGO involvement and secret blood policy for patients;

was enough proof for me to leave it all behind.

I had to be brave, keep close to Yehuwah God,

and to do extra research to learn the truth all over again; this time from open sources.

I still worship God at home through proper prayer, respectable behavior,

and in sharing my findings with you on theses sites.

May God's spirit of comfort be upon all of you in your times of need;

Are Jehovah's Witnesses superficial people?

The organization is superficial, and many in it are also. The brand falsely advertises something that it knows it can't give, and many are stuck having to go along with it. Seekers of truth are drawn to it's claim, and many members don't know how to inform new ones without them leaving. Outwardly the organization's teachings show how they have cleaned up religion, and many members who know there's more to it than that continue to preach it's entire theology anyway. This brand name includes newly devised falsehoods that form a mental web in believers minds that make it very difficult to escape from, and many elders are becoming aware of this cultic tactic. For these reasons and much more, a culture of pretend friendships have a prominent place in the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses' congregations. The great out cry on the web attests to this as we have expressed our dealings with this corporate sales religion. In the text book fashion of abusive cults we've noted: marking, snubbing, running cliques at the halls, disassociating whom ever is in their view finder, and many things like these. In spite of the mounting evidence WT continues to say: "Do you know who we are? We're the 'faithful and true'!" Yet to us; it's many thrown away, chased out, and escapees know what they are, false advertisers for an elitist body, and false prophets of Satan!

Shunning,, let's twist the knife in a little deeper now !

this morning i took my dog who is a therapy dog over to the hospital and visited with several patients.

it is quite an experience, and it really helps people undergoing medical treatment to calm down and relax.. my wife was one of those patients, she is undergoing some tests before getting her gall bladder removed which will probably be sometime tomorrow.. afterwards i took the dog home, cleaned her up, and changed my clothes.

since i was alone i drove over to panara to try one of their breakfast sandwiches, several of the nurses told me that they are pretty good.

Yeah man in black; our family did something similar to what mrquik did.

We noticed a group from two different halls in a privet dinning room. It was packed with those who were harboring hateful grudges towards us, as we have turned in their outwardly glowing family members. Who by the way were quite adept at flaunting God's law and breaking WT's rules; while keeping it hidden with the hypocritical aide of their elder relatives.

We walked straight in with out an invite; still faithful to going to the meetings, though we weren't on speaking terms. Some ran to the back of the room, others sank into their seats, but all had fearfully shocked looks on their faces. Is we quickly shook all hands that we could reach, their faces grew redder, and their silence was only broken by muffled and brief greetings! Later; when paying our bill, we looked back and they had the; "What just happened?" look about them.

But outside the restaurant our family said: "It was the table of the demons!", "It was worth it to see the look on their faces!", "They deserved that!", "I hope they choke on their food for everything they did to people!", "Oh Jehovah, forgive me for saying that!", "We're never doing that again!", and "That's just bad association! Their not worth it."

I had mentioned that my family likes to befriend single parents, but we also enjoy couples that are honest in their lives.

Greatings man in black and all on board!

I'd like to clarify the shuning condition from a counseling perspective so we can get a bigger picture of the problem; and thus cope better with it. Please bear with me, as I'm not trying to offend anyone; only cult hypocrites.

The reason why shunning is so powerful is that it feeds into our emotions. This tends to distort our sense of reality, or truth about the matter. It effects our moods, reactions and faculties in Christ. Here's how it works:

A) Faulty thinking of an event; 1) "If they hadn't have done it, I wouldn't have had to do what I did!" 2) Stuck in a thought, and wont see things from their view.

B) Sources of faulty thinking; 1) Sinful nature; refusal to change when presented facts. 2) Placing responsibility for actions on another person; the easy, lazy route to blame the other person. 3) Natural inclination, or inability to understand that others are not controlling ones moods, and that it really is the reactions of the self. 4) Satan's false belief system, he fathers all deliberate liars as they serve his misleading interests.

C) The price tag to faulty thinking is; 1) Everything is based on reaction to one wrong thought, not reason; and all reactionary events there-after. 2) Such ones are trapped in a cycle of delusion, where others can exploit this trait to control such peoples lives.

D) Faulty thinking destroys a person by; 1) "I must be perfect"; if not, depression may set in. 2) Striving for popularity, love and approval; this becomes more important than "pleasing God!" 3) "Personal worth equals performance", this is unscriptural competition that creates pride, envy and self righteousness in cliques to out shine other brothers, and do them harm in oder to be "better than them."

E) Use the TRUTH Model to identify healthy thinking; T = trigger event, R = wRong thoughts, or conclusions, U = unhealthy response, T = truth or reality about the situation, H = healthy reactions a) emotions under control, b) behavior thought out and appropriate.

F) Developing the mind of Christ by; Identifying the lies a person is telling.

G) Fight back with the truth; 1) keep repeating the healthy pattern, 2) this is a process to correct wrong thoughts, so be patient and don't give up.

Again, I don't wish to embarrass anyone; after all it's more an indictment against unloving users who mislead others into doing their dirty work for them.
