Local Needs: Low Hours

the local needs was about low fs time in the cong.

about 1/3 of publishers are averaging 4 hours per month.

that is unprecedented in our cong, a usually 'zealous' congregation.. my take is this: if you don't believe it yourself, why are you going to waste valuable time telling others?

The averages for Canada and the USA is approx 7.5 hrs per month. The push is on for getting Bible Studies. We haven't had a National Status Report printed in a KM in years. The ORG is fighting hard to get this back. They used to state that the servants needed to do the National Average a few years ago. That was 10 hrs per month. Now that the national average is dropped, the ORG are sticking to that 10 hr requirement, and insisting that the wife, and baptised children maintain that as well.

Which songs/Albums were considered "Demonic" in your Congregation...did you toss some?

"hotel california" was considered a major demonic song.

ac/dc stood for anti-christ devils children....{not according to the band} kiss stood for knight s in satans service {not according to the band} anyone else have to toss albums?.

Stairway to heaven, because of that subliminal backward masking on the song.

But, it was the most requested song to play on my guitar when I attended functions with the friends. Then there was Purple Haze. That song was missunderstood.

1) publishers are to pick-up their mag's weekly in preparation for what they think they will use that week.

2) group conductors shall now distribute the study article of the wt, and the km.. wonder why they have changed this?.

We used to pick-up our WT study mag with our mag order. This is new to me, guess I missed that KM.

Hi Listener: I would imagine that the study article will be very secretive in light of the publicity that it has gotten today. It may even become like the KM.

New Australia Card for Voluntary Service...Are there some conditions attached?

this card that is being made compulsory for those that provide some voluntary service in australia, is there other conditions attached to it?.

for instance, is there something there that involves political, or something that would render it a concience matter?.

just hope that it doesn't get spinned to say that it conflicts with someone's religious right or concience, like in malawi.. i remember when such a licence to preach was being enforced in quebec, canada the jw's won that contest.
