1. Think of all the money JWs will save on postage stamps.
2. Think of all the money JWs will spend on fuel.
3. JWs who were using the pandemic as an opportunity to fade will have to decide whether to complete the fade or come back to "mother."

A new generation of anointed that will not pass away.
by Fisherman inobviously, the older “ anointed ” from 1914 died.
and because they were anointed, they hopefully went to heaven.
in the first century though, a newer generation did not replace the old.

Instead of saying, "We were wrong," the "humble brothers" doubled down.
Will the overlapping generations themselves overlap somehow in order to keep the whole thing going?
The mind boggles.

Do you think the Watchtower is right about about eternal punishment of the wicked?
by Vanderhoven7 inatheists believe death is the end of personal existence.
but for those who believe there is life after death, what do you think is the nature of final punishment?
in other words do you agree with the atheists and the watchtower society or is there eternal ongoing conscious punishment awaiting the wicked.

What about the rich man and Lazarus passage in Luke 16?
Whatever you think of it, the Watchtower explanation of it is ludicrous.

What Name Does the New Testament Emphasize - Jehovah or Jesus?
by Vanderhoven7 init seems to me scripturally speaking, that jehovah's witnesses are emphasizing the wrong name.. it should be jesus, not jehovah.
who is the way, the truth and the life?
(john 14:6).

The WT says the Bible manuscripts are thoroughly reliable, except for excising the name "Jehovah" from the Greek scriptures 237 times.
That never made sense to me.

The COVID fade: A lot of JWs discovered there are better things to do than field service and KH meeting attendance.

Should a Christian celebrate Christmas?
by Samsie inhello, i'm new here and have woken up to the real truth concerning the org.
i'm sort of fading away at the moment.... i need help with something, i used to as a child celebrate christmas and have always had amazing memories of it (my husband hasn't as he was born into the org) but i gave it up when i learnt the "truth".
my interest was only in pleasing god and still is.

Where did you get the idea it was wrong to celebrate Christmas and that everyone has to see it that way?
From the Watchtower, which you now know isn't "Jehovah's organization" or "the truth." See how powerful their indoctrination can be? You don't believe it any more but you still have the emotions they programmed into you.
Romans 14:5 says that what days we do or don't celebrate is a matter of personal conscience: "One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind."
Follow your conscience in this matter, but don't let your conscience be controlled by 8 men in New York who falsely claim to speak for Jehovah.
