  crazy people shoot up places and kill people.

  take away guns and they will find knives, poison, bombs , etc.. seriously, there are a lot of mentally unhealthy people!

  In Oregon the laws are great!

  A meth head can break in to your house and you are supposed to run.

  You can only defend yourself if you feel that the intruder is actively trying to harm you.

  If the intruder lives, and says you're lying and he wasn't trying to harm you, he gets to sue you for damages. Apparently, this usually goes worse for the home owner. The tweaker has nothing to lose.

  The common feeling here with gun owners is that you are effectively forced to kill if you are planning on defending yourself and your family.

  “the un human rights committee said tuesday that france's ban on the niqab was a violation of human rights, and it called on the government to review the legislation.. france had failed to make the case for its ban, the committee said, giving paris 180 days to report back to say what actions it had taken.

  the panel's findings are not legally binding but could influence french courts.. .

  I was just in France a few weeks ago. Saw a few Muslim women wearing medical face masks, apparently trying to get around the law. Of course, their husbands wore normal clothing.

  just been catching up on the case of jamal khashoggi.. khashoggi was a saudi journalist who 'went missing' on 2 october after visiting the saudi consulate in istanbul.. he visited the consulate in order to get paperwork that confirmed he was divorced from his ex-wife and free to marry his turkish fiancée.. the details that are emerging are harrowing and show just how barbaric the saudi regime is.. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6288131/jamal-khashoggis-apparent-murder-follows-disappearance-three-exiled-royal-princes.html.

  so a friend today asked me what his deal is and i honestly don't know.

  i saw someone post about his accusations that the doj is investigating watchtower and people seemed down on the guy, as well has johnny the bethelite or whatever his name is that claims to leak stuff.

  i don't know rick fearon, don't watch his show, but his site just seems a little crazy, and he seems to get into occult conspiracies and the jws, which never lends credibility.. so for those of you who have been around a while, what's the deal?

  Is Child Abuse An Issue That You Personally Have Seen In The Organization?

  as an elder, i saw one child abuse situation involving a man who wanted to be an elder and had i believe 8 children.

  he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.

  he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

  In my area, I would say that there are several per congregation out of 9 congs.

  should i simply disassociate myself and have nothing to do with the organization?.
