  "not a good example"

  i have a concern i guess or just want to vent.

  my husband and i - as most of you know - we're married just a little under 2 months and you all know at that point i was still "active" in the org.

  we had a few issues with our bridal party - namely the groom - cuz according to them he wasnt a good example and not in good status because they hadn't seen him at the meetings or in service for like 2 months.

  ok so i jumped through all these hoops after almost ruining my teaching career and i have finally been accepted on a course so i can teach school, instead of college.. and i got the go ahead today whoohooo.

  ive been sedentary for a year, i suppose with all the leaving the witnesses and my job and my family and my licence, and ive put two stone on.. so how can i get myself feeling better and get rid of this god awful belly x.

  yknot. thank you - its not my diet, I dont eat loads and I dont eat crap. - though I could do to drink a bit less - its the sedentary lifestyle.

  I have started Ju Jitsu once a week, but yes I need to walk more

  I have a home gym in my conservatory so I need to use it..

  my sister is moving in with me in a week or so and she is a gym freak, so Im going to have her make me her personal project.

  - the hardest thing when you have been fed up is getting off your backside.. but it needs to be done..

  if he doesnt want to be a witness this doesnt mean he doesnt want to be a part of his brothers wedding. - its his brother? thats the issue. I am sure he is very angry.

  sounds to me like you havent been married long and all I can say is both of you have left something that will control you forever so please think of it as an opportunity to make a good thing out of your marriage and for your own sanity dont be one of those wives who cant let it lie. - its his brother, be supportive, - this too shall pass.

  highdose. hooray. this is my second (Since I was ten) and this year will be better than last, because now all my 'worldly mates' know Im out for good, they will send pressies for under my tree and it wont all have to be me..

  me and the mrs went round to my parents for a meal last night.

  it's always a mixed bag with them because as hospitable as they are (greeks), there is no love between them - seriously.

  it was a forced marriage and my mum has never loved dad.. anyway, mum is a loyal jw to the core, dad was never interested.

  yes...i said it... i cannot stand my own sister!

  the girl is bpd (borderline personality disorder) and so she technically is mentally ill - but it makes her a terribly vindictive and hateful person.

  dgp I agree with you... forgiveness is actually very smug and good for YOU... I cant recall where I read it but to forgive means YOU let go of the anger that is making YOU feel bad, and YOU start to feel more positive. - even if they never know, it helps YOU Move on..

  you cant change others, and think they want you to feel bad and bitter. - DOnt let them x

  how many times we had heard from jw (commenting on christmass, mothers day or bithdays) "they dont need a pecial day set to give gifts, because the can give it on any day" .... but whats your experience if you compare jw and non jw ... are they really giving?.

  my sons (7) example:.

  he has non jw grandparents: gets all kinds of gifts all the time, sweets, magazines, toys,.
