Kobe charged ! so sad !, will JW's use him as an example for their young ?
by run dont walk inanytime something went wrong in the world with an individual, they would use them as example over and over and over again.. the most common one i heard was brother a got into big trouble with __________ (insert problem here, pick any one), see this is what happens when you leave the organization.. so how many jw's will be saying ............. "did you hear what happened to kobe, big successful athlete, see he didn't have god's organization and satan got him.".
i wonder how many jw parents especially in the la area will make their kids stop wearing number 8. he did and admit to committing adultrey.
sexual assault, i don't think so.

Dumbfounded by COC
by eyeslice inover the weekend, i read for the first time crisis of conscience.. whilst i was already familiar with much of the material on chronology, 1874, 1914, etc.
i was dumbfounded to learn how the governing body actually works and conducts itself.
i think that many of us who have been elders in the past can really relate to ray and the battle he faced.. i must admit, i thought it was just me, and the battles i have faced with local hard-line elders.

Magic Money, a tale of circular idiocy..........
by WingCommander inhere is an example of just how stupid the attitude of some congregations seems to be.
i'm sure we've all seen this example of stupid circular economics in action.
end of the world - just around the corner.. don't get an education or a job - end of the world is near.. need a job in order to keep up with the buying of designer suits or dresses, a new bmw or oh yeah, a newly built home would be nice too.

Memorial: Tribute to Jesus, or fashion show??
by WingCommander inwhile i'm not a regular as much as i used to be (maybe get to the hall 10 times a year), i always give praise and thanks to jehovah and his son jesus as requested in the bible on the appropriate day.
i have never missed a memorial.
whether or not i agree with everything the gb or watchtower puts out or says, is irrelevant.

Oregon Lawsuit News Coverage
by silentlambs insuit targets jehovahs witnesses
benton complaint about sex abuse and church policy is said to be the first of hundreds across the u.s.. .
the setup is such that the elders are the voice of the watchtower, and the watchtower is the voice of christ.

My illustration web site is finally done.
by seven006 inwith working on client's projects and playing on this board i finally squished in some time in to finish my site.
it isn't anything fancy with animations and shockwave magic shooting all over the place like i have done in the past.
it is simple, clean, and straight forward boring html.. the work is just a small portion of what i have done over the last year or so.

Mexico/Malawi $$$$$?
by OUTLAW inanyone who was a dub many years ago remembers people dying in malawi for the wbts.in malawi, dubs were encouraged not to have anything to do with the government and many were murdered..in mexico,it was profitable for wbts to encourage the people to do what the people in malawi were not allowed to.
i have 2 questions: was there a monatary or political gain in it for wbts?.if those people didn`t die for profit of some sort for wbts, what did they die for?.for one,i know dead dubs sell magazines, the profits from that probably helped wbts acquire property in mexico...outlaw
