Does Roman Catholicism Teach The "Truth"?
by minimus inout of all mainstream religions, roman catholicism seems to be the most cultic to me, even more so than jehovah's witnesses in certain ways.. the belief in transubstantiation , i think that's how it's spelled, is weird!
the attire of the clergy is satanic looking.
the view of papal authority is not that much different than a jw's view of "the slave".. .

Why would a transcendent God do anything?
by gubberningbody ini'm stuck on that one.
the answer "love" isn't a serious answer because you can't love without an object (unless it's self love)..

The Issue of Christ as Mediator
by passwordprotected ini think i've hit on why the wts love to downplay christ's role as mediator.
it's not just so that they can have their two classes of christians.
they have to downplay this aspect of christ because it throws up the issue of his divinity.. who is christ mediating for?.

About the "but it's run by imperfect men" argument.
by SPAZnik inby the same token, couldn't any religion use the same argument to excuse their flaws and atrocities?
they are, after all, run by "imperfect" men as well.
i guess that means they're actually inspired of god too, but simply run by imperfect men who make mistakes..
