  i had a huge light bulb on moment as i wasy in therapy dealing with a nasty anxiety disorder for many years and having a huge trigger in my life finally silenced.

  it was almost the last thing that i thought i would end up doing expecially if you asked my wife and myself even a year before our decision to " live " thats how i view it not decision to leave...........it was a decision to live.. .

  my therapist psychiatrist asked me who are you?

  While preparing a public talk on prophecy, it occurred to me that this religion has not gotten much right at all and uses the "new light" as wiggle room.

  Added to that, the cultish following accepts anything without the ability, permission or forum to ask questions.

  It is amazing what happens when you really "put these things to the test".

  i was looking for the lightning bolts to get me.

  How many in your cong. became JW out of door-to-door preaching?

  door to door is an essential way of preaching among jw, you cannot get baptized unles you join in door-to-door service, ..... but how many converts in your congregation in past 20 years came out of door-to-door preaching?

  please deduct mentally handicaped and weirdos.. number for your congregation?.

  mine could be 2, (mother with a teenage son), but they da shortly after baptism.. albert .

  It is amazing the insight one gets into reality when they limit their research to the "Society's" publications.

  When the elders were questioning me concerning my "doubts" the twisted reality they presented through the JW publications was disturbing.

  They shuttered when any authoritative statement was presented by secular authorities.

  Once the blinders are removed, you can see far more faults than you may have initially thought were there.

  Why's everybody getting divorced????!

  this is insanity!

  literally four couples that i know closely & personally have told me in the last two weeks that they are divorcing their spouses.

  and there are a couple on here whom i've discovered are separating as well (these two i do not know personally, but i'm a little surprised & saddened regardless).

  faders....was it not fun reducing your magazine order over and over?

  as i went out less and less and less.......i loved the look on the bro at the magazine counter when i said i need three fewer or whatever.....after i did this a few times he said "yeah...several others have had to do the same"......and then i noticed that not only did i bring a huge stack of "back issues" into the hall and place them on the counter when nobody was looking......but there was already a pile there......then i just started trashing them........ahhh.......those were they days...............

  Two months ago, I threw a couple hundred mags. and a few books into the fireplace.

  My "believing" wife was pissed... and a little scared.

  What would it take for you to conclude that the WBTS is not God's channel?

  i wondered if you could answer this question for me?

  you seem to be fine with the fact that they are false prophets, that they have changed the bible and that they have entered into an agreement to "uphold the aims of the un".. what is the deal breaker for you?.

  i suspect that there isn't one, and that is not a reasonable position.. please tell me there is something they could do that would make you question their legitamacy?.

  Stop claiming to be a JW.

  If you were a real JW you would not be here. I don't care for that religion, but at least I and other posters on this site don't make a mockery of it by claiming one thing (it's the truth) and living another (associating with apostates on this site)

  Think I am wrong? Ask your elders.

  So you can either leave or continue to prove yourself a fake!
