  One of the best vid's I've ever seen for debunking and disproving Jehovah's Witnesses

  as some of you know i'm not a religious person at all after leaving the jw's but there was a link on another site i was on and the link was to a pastor's vid.

  (about exposing jw's as false prophets etc)being that i'm not at all interested in hearing a sermon, i was going to just leave the site and continue researching some other stuff but then curiosity made me wonder if he truly knew anything about jw's or was just going to be another religious leader downing jw's in an effort to make his version of the "gospel" sound more appealing.i have to admit i was pleasantly surprised at the extent of his knowledge of scripture that jw's like to use as well as the history behind the organization.

  many of the points he brought out we've covered here before and he arranged them in an easy to understand and follow sequence.i'd be interested in hearing what some of you think on the job he did on exposing the jw's(wt)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3o56jwgbjk.

  Why ex-JW's so knowledgeable when it comes to the Bible?

  over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?

  my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.

  i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.

  hi everyone to cut a long story short, ive been away from the meetings for over 10 years.

  i recently reconnected with the congregation and started a study.

  cant get my head around all the changes and jw broadcasting.

  walk away from the stupid study Colin, they are still has hard line as ever, shunning continues, their deception and lies continue, its same shit just a different decade, you wont gain anything whatsoever keeping this study going, and a warm welcome BTW, there is a mountain of info on this forum far more then you could ever gain from a study or a KH.

  Weekend visit from JWs.

  had a visit from the jws this week.

  i've lived in this house since 2012 and this is the first time, they have reached me at home - quite the urgent work.. anyway, i was home on saturday morning and around 10am, there was a knock.

  i had a feeling it would be them.

  a good bit of anti-witnessing, the subject matter may have been slightly too deep for the hard nosed elderly woman but never give up a chance and I never do, the UN membership/ARC/doomsday predictions that have failed does really wake them up, their haemorrhaging membership continues to confirm this.

  gorby is as you know a long time fader.. visited the convention this weekend.. and concluded that samuel herds talk about hope was not so bad at all, it was well balanced.

  made some good points.. knowing both sides of the medallion, have to admit he was humble with a focus on hope.. the saturday drama impressed me.

  of course, there is a lot to say about the organization, this professional produced movie in a "true story" scenario, gave me the insight that hope is important for suffering people.

  i took my son to the watford football club family day,-and the highlight- troy deeney.

  he stayed until every last item was signed and every selfie was taken.

  we left way after the end of the event and he left after us.

  I was quite zealous for it, auxiliary pioneered and made over 10 hours per month, I was also commended how effective I was in conversation starting as I used to prepare for it with the Reasoning book, it was very short lived though, I probably had a peak of a about 4/5 years as a zealous jw quite close to being a MS as well, the fade started very close to the end of those few years of real zealousness and it all started to crumble away, FS would start with lunch and end without so much as a door being banged on, the CBS was dumped so was meeting attendance, an adult with ADD would never have lasted much longer as I can testify to. I'll try and compare to footballer to my jw career, perhaps a player that peaked early and retired early due to a career ending injury?

  when jehovah brings armageddon, will he let me live long enough to witness the deaths of my children and grand children because they didn't believe in him?

  .

  since i've faded and i don't promote worshiping him anymore, i am just wondering.. at least i'd know for sure what kind of god he is?.
