I was baptised in 1987 (born in) married in 1990 and at the time I thought I was in for life, the cracks in the marriage surfaced within weeks though, but at the time felt reasonably happy in my life as a young brother in the cong , reaching out etc, god that pack of cards fell down quite quickly indeed, by early 1992 my meeting attendance was very sporadic , FS all but finished, prestudy, prayer etc all ground to a halt, by 1993 I was completely finished, history,by 1995 I was divorced,moved away and in the proceeding years DA'd all within 5 years.

another funny sight at the weekend as I walked down the high street of my neighbouring town with my young kids (they have no idea nor could even appreciate my past) ,the apathy cart was visible with 3 jw's there gossiping away as usual a few yards further up was a young black kid dressed in a suit screaming like a lunatic some evangelical crap the louder it got the more sheepish the jw's were and they seemed to try to hide behind the cart! , when we came back they were gone, the born again Christian loon was still there! -

there is an underground tube station I pass on my way to work most days a very busy station indeed but I only ever see them there on a Sunday the least busiest day of the week, how mad is that?

WTBTS of Britain selling another Kingdom Hall
by Nicholaus Kopernicus inwhile having a sojourn in se england yesterday (bank holiday weekend) i noticed this a few meters from the entrance to richmond park.... .
this is the kingdom hall of the richmond park congregation of jehovah's witnesses.
i checked the website of the estate agent (bonsors) and there is no mention of the property or the price.

wow another big one sold, real estate value in Richmond is right up there as being the most expensive in London, I believe when the Putney and Kingston congregations sold their hall after the congregations were amalgamated some years back the Richmond congregation absorbed part or both or a new congregation was formed to meet here I'm not quite sure, a move to Tolworth is a fair few miles away and not an easy place to travel to for the R&F in the Borough of Richmond to think these three congregations were very old established and in the space of a few years they've disappeared!

Just A Thought Regarding The Bunker Video
by pale.emperor inas ridiculous as the bunker video was, a few things popped into my consciousness as i was riding the train today.
firstly, why did they go to all the expense and effort to not only create a bunker, but to furnish it like a living room complete with coffee table, armchair, shelves etc?
i mean, a bunker should be a bunker... boxes of tinned food, tools, medical supplies, emergency gear etc.
