  Feeling numb... feeling like I did when I first DAed.

  my dad recently told all the kids that he has terminal cancer.

  he is going to die... could be in a month... could be in a year.. all the kids recently visited my parents over last weekend.

  i was allowed to come too due to the "family business" clause in the wts rules.. yesterday i cried... i'm still crying a bit today and am feeling numb.

  I'm very sadened to hear about your father Elsewhere. Try to call him once in a while just to say

  "Hello Dad" been thinking about you... he will appreciate it. My father did, he passed from cancer quite a few years ago.

  Keep busy and may you find that inner strength to get through this all.

  Where do I find a good man

  by is there help out there in

  girls are always asking where do i find a good man.

  when i look at girls today i would at least 50% have ulgy tattooes, drink, spew out fore letter words and have every thing from there eye brows to there pussy pesced with some sort of ring.

  I think guys and girls have both changed these days, no one takes sh*t. They do what they want and some women think they can do the

  one night stands like men and not be scathed buy it. I hate to see women use foul language. I don't mind dainty small tattoo's I've been thinking of one myself even at my age.....hehe I did get a belly ring this year for my 52 birthday and hubby likes it.

  understand their feelings and thoughts. In doing so I may learn something from others experiences. Life is short, life is to be enjoyed.

  Oct.15th WT- " Wanna Be Jesus Friend? Have to Support the Faithful Slave"

  under the study article " you are my friends " ( indicating jesus naturally by his quote ) the wt society makes it very clear that the only way to be jesus friend is to come through them or else you won't be approved by jesus or god.

  translation : friendship with jesus = treating the " faithful slave " kindly = jesus approving you.

  our jw relatives will be studying this in december at their meetings.. under the subheading on pg.

  Then it says the first primary way to express " friendship " towards " Christ's brothers " is sharing in the preaching work. The second way they can help Christ's brothers ? ( Here it comes ) " By financially supporting the preaching work. Not that we can buy friendship with Jesus or Jehovah. Rather , by using our material assets to further kingdom interests , we prove our friendship and love , not just in word , but in " deed and truth" . We provide such financial support when we engage in preaching work, when we donate money toward the construction and maintenance of our meeting facilities, and contribute funds to the worldwide preaching work. "

  Jesus said as you recieved freely give freely....Asking or making one feel obligated to donate is that christian. After all is it not the Wt that said they would never beg for money in any form. When that happens its time to fold.

  All the magazines are being paid for plenty, the publisher pays for everything they pick up. Then they also give the donation from the door to door work in the contribution box.

  Ok, so if you don't start getting your donations in people Jesus will be with held from you....

  Two new leaflets announced at Meeting today - desparate times?

  i don't know if anyone else has posted about this, but at tonight's meeting it was announced there are two new leaflets one dealing with how to leave a legacy for the worldwide work and the other on how to make tax effective contributions?.

  this maybe for the uk only but i thought it showed that they really are focussing on filling up the depleted coffers..

  Ya why not....hehe or they could have you fill out a form and withdraw a certain amount of funds each month....Auto payment plan.... 50 bucks from each family just one less pizza night....

  Go to the UK its awesome.....And Paris for the weekend was fabulous.....there is so much to see. I'm going again next

  year. Perhaps Northern England and a hop over to Scotland on a motorcycle....really want to meet up with some posters there.

  A real nice place is Deadwood, North Dakota lots of history and old historic buildings, then a trip down to Wyoming to see Devils Tower and Wild Bill Hickcocks Museum. Great trip! Been there several times....
