GAY WOMEN

please bear with me on this as this is a genuine attempt by me at greater understanding.. recently, a young woman i know has come out and stated that she is gay.

this is the second time i have been shocked - yes shocked!

- because neither woman fit what i used to consider was the "typical" gay woman profile (i am not using the word lesbian in case it causes offence).

I really enjoyed reading this thread. it has dealt with a delicate subject with kindness, thoughtfulness and consideration.

To hetros like me it has improved my understanding. I do not care about the sexual proclivities of people, just that are in a happy and loving relationship.

I do not think Sweetstuff is being judgemental, she is as i understand, saying that all relationships are based on trust. I can look at another person and say wow they look great, and hope the person is flattered, but no more.

If we do not trust, the relationship any relationship is weakened.

Sweetstuff knows this.

We were told not to have children, pioneered for 8 years, finally it got to much for my wife, being told to forsake having children. Now we have 3 lovely children. Do not listen to them after all your mum had children
