People might be drinking more for boredom. While that is not good for their health if they are in fact drinking more (instead of just substituting drinking at home for drinking the same amount at bars), at least they are drinking and driving that much less. And that is when they are really asking for trouble--if you drink, that's your business. If you drink and drive, it becomes mine and that of everyone else that shares the road.

People Are Drinking a Lot More When "Locked Up" in Their Homes
by RubaDub init was amusing the other evening on the local news to see the increase of drinking due likely to people having to basically stay at home.. the news crew went out on recycle day in a couple of areas during the week.
they showed the general neighborhoods (but not the specific houses).
the reporter walked down the street and looked into the recycle bins.

Should the FDA have the right to inspect food?
by NoAbuse ini say it tramples on the free market!
if a person gets botulism, e.coli or trichonosis, they'll just stop buying that brand!
let the market decide i say.

And what would stop someone from tainting the food after the inspection? I prefer inspection to be used to enforce the laws, and that starts with the farms. Animals raised in grossly inhumane conditions need to be stopped, and those responsible need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law (and perhaps forced, as part of their sentence, to have totally vegan diets). That is where most of these problems start. Eliminate the animal cruelty instead of criminalizing those who document it and blab it across the Internet or taking down the whole Internet/censoring everything. That would solve half the problem of food poisoning, if not more.
The other half is usually a result of something that happens after the inspection. How often do I find cans with bulges or big dents in them, because some idiot insists on stocking them anyways (and yes, I pull such product, shortage or none). I have also seen bags of dry goods with holes in them, through which anything (from dirt to food poisoning or cyanide) could get into the food. Again, if I see it, I pull it shortage or none. These idiots that continually stock such items need to get fired. The rule is, if I wouldn't buy it, I don't stock it either. (Obviously, with shortages, I am a bit more liberal in stocking boxes that are a bit beat up or cans with little dents, so long as the integrity of the package is still intact.)
Then, what happens once the customer buys a product and carelessly handles it. And no, I do not mean for coronavirus. How many times someone will improperly clean items after using them for raw meat and before using them for prepared food. No inspector is going to prevent food poisoning that results from this--a bit of soap and water might, though.

Drink and Zoom, No Smell No Tell
by 2+2=5 ini’ve been at work with some jws over the last week.. i was conversing with one jw elder who mentioned having a couple of drinks after work, on the evening of a zoom meeting.
he said he never drinks before a meeting, but did this occasion.
this jw is not a heavy drinker, he’s very moderate compared to most.. this got me thinking about the other jws i use to associate with, who were actually drinkers, blokes that would drink 8+ beers, when it’s gone out comes the scotch or vodka.. i think they’ll be counting the sober bro’s on one hand at these meetings.

At least they will not be drinking and driving. That is what is wrong with drinking before a physical boasting session--someone has to drive there, and if they are drink driving, they are putting other road users in danger. That is the only problem I have with people drinking before boasting sessions. With Zoom, you eliminate that issue--since you are at home, you can be as drunk as you want to be and no one will have to die because of your driving drunk. Of course, I advise that you will deal with whatever health consequences this may lead to.

Brothers, please give blood!
by lastmanstanding inwe are all very much aware of watchtology’s duplicity of teaching, the blood doctrine being the most predominant piece of hypocritical bullshight in human history.
but perhaps now we shall see their hypocrisy in a whole new light.. the red cross is putting out the call.. patients.
plasma donations from recovered covid-19 patients.

They will not allow it. Their doctrine states that plasma is a major blood fraction, and is therefore forbidden to give or receive even if lives are at stake. The ones that give or take this blood fraction could probably be threatened with being destroyed by joke-hova, since they are supposed to suffer all the more and be willing to die for that worthless piece of trash.
I would like to see the members of the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger get coronavirus and need this treatment or die miserable deaths (not easy deaths, either). They expect those in the field to surrender to dying, yet I would be willing to bet that they would take blood plasma if they got coronavirus. And they would lie about it, which is to me far worse than doing the blood.
As I see it, that is one more treatment option, albeit a quite expensive one. (Blood is highly perishable and is usually quite scarce.) There are other alternatives I would use before resorting to this. Vitamin and mineral supplements are good--I already take the vitamin C and zinc that is so hard to find these days. (I stock up to roughly 2 years' supply against these things becoming illegal, not just for the virus.) Schisandra berry, elderberry syrup, astragalus, and vitamin D (which is still quite available in most areas, where it is still legal) are good to take regularly. I also have oregano oil and echinacea on standby if I do catch the virus or get significant exposure to it. (And there are other herbs that help--you do have options.)
Beyond that, before the plasma, I would look into other drugs. Chloroquine is one example. That, combined with zinc, will wipe out coronavirus within 5-10 days. (Though chloroquine is dangerous for heart patients, and I do not advocate taking forms of the drug that are meant for fish or animals because you will get the wrong dose and may die from it).
I wonder how many of these other options the jokehovians have banned, either explicitly or because they cannot afford it or do no research on it. How many of them even take a vitamin pill? Myself, I started taking vitamin C to ward off dental abscesses, only to find it significantly reduces the chance of my catching colds. (And no one else caught on.)

Do You Feel Your Rights Are Being Trampled On By Government Regarding Coronavirus?
by minimus ini support local and state and federal government’s power to safeguard the public.
i wonder is it getting to a point where we will be told we can’t go out anymore, can’t use your phone or computer anymore because of the viruses that we can get, etc.
are we prolonging this virus at all ?

It is only going to get a lot worse. You think it's bad now? Wait until they have a vaccine, complete with formaldehyde, aluminum, fluoride, mercury, and cadmium that is designed to make you sicker than the virus ever could have. Combine that with the RFID chip (the brain chip, not just the hand chip), and we are looking at far worse than any lockdown could be.
As for the lockdowns, I never saw any for H1N1. They hounded me to take a vaccine for that, but I never did. I feel that minor exposure (such as to virus that is near death or has just expired) does the same thing, without the additives or the risk of having a much worse strain in the vaccine. But no lockdown. They barely advised people to wash their hands with soap and water. There was no mention of staying home if you are sick. Schools never closed, though quite a few were absent during their flu.
You want a genuine reason to lock things down? How about tuberculosis. You get tuberculosis, you are going to have a far worse infection than any coronavirus. Even if you die from either, tuberculosis is a much more miserable death than coronavirus. And you get better about 98% of the time with coronavirus, most of the time without anything more than symptomatic treatment and/or supplements. Try that with tuberculosis. Yet, how often do you hear of "social distancing" or washing with soap and water for tuberculosis?
About the only good thing here would be if the churches, which provide the energy for these pandemics (and the communism that is going to follow this, which is way worse than the virus itself), to be permanently closed. We also need to better secure our borders--and this is worldwide. The US/Mexican border isn't the only one that needs better security. They need to stop letting everyone into Europe coming from central or northern Africa or the Muslim portions of the Middle East. That is where diseases come from--and not just coronavirus, either. And stop falling for this "That is racist" rubbish. Is it better to have leprosy, typhus, tuberculosis, and Ebola through Europe?

Circuit storehouse
by road to nowhere ingot more info.
donate canned food, stable things.
if there is a need go to family, friends, neighbors, food banks, government, then congregation, and next to last circuit.

And, additionally, I will not be donating money, either. I do not know if I am going to be set back due to quarantine, whether or not I actually catch the virus. A 2-week paid leave is not going to do if I get coronavirus off and on, test positive after 1 1/2 weeks after being exposed, remain asymptomatic but still contagious for another 4 or 5 weeks, and then suddenly get very sick. Not that I am expecting that, but I do not want to give money to joke-hova or some xian rubbish that is attempting to curse people to just such an outcome.

We already have widespread purchase limits on so many grocery items. I will not donate anything to the washtowel, no matter how hard up they are. There are plenty of other people that need these items more than the washtowel does, and there is no way I am buying 3 of something with a purchase limit of 2 just so some xian rubbish organization can use it to create communism out of this. I would rather buy just the 2 I intend to use, and leave the third for someone else that perhaps has nothing in their pantries.

Curious to know the Zoom attendance figures for for the memorial
by joe134cd ini’m just curious to know the local attendance figures for the memorial.
my father told me they had an attendance of 140. not flattering for a cong of 100 pubs.
i was sort of surprised at this considering the quarantine measures and everyone being forced to stay at home.

They got nothing from me. I didn't even bother wasting the money on a camera so they can force me to waste time dressing up to sit at home watching a computer listening to Kingdumb s*** instead of Led Zeppelin.

I don't trust communist governments that slaughter those who try exposing the truth. This is as true for the jokehovian witlesses that add to their reports as it is for governments that do not test for the disease or even tell the truth about how many new cases there really are. It would cost them money and prestige if people knew the truth about China, as much as it would if people knew the truth about how many publishers there really are within the jokehovians.
As far as boycotting China, I am one that would be more likely to do that in response to them lying than in response to having 200 million cases of coronavirus. If they had 200 million cases and were forthcoming about it, that would be "bad luck". If they have 200 million cases and lie about it, that is one more reason to boycott Chinese products when possible. Already, I stay away from poorly made products, preferring top quality at full price instead of cheap rubbish. And I last shopped Walmart for sun-worship decorations in 2009, getting nothing because of the abominable lousy selection and quality. I haven't set foot in that place since then.
At least here, there is a halfway decent chance that they are somewhere near the truth. Yes, they still miss cases because of bad tests or someone with coronavirus thinks they just have a cold and doesn't bother getting tested. But, at least they are half trying. That is more than can be said about China, who slaughtered those who tried to tell the truth.
Seems the truth is offensive to those depending on lies.

Covid 19, is this the WT new push to bring back ex JW's before the end of the system?
by William Penwell innot sure if this was covered as i could not find anything on it but talking to my son he tells me one of the gb had a talk telling them this is a sign of the last days.
have the jw's being pressured into talking to relatives and friends to bring them back into the fold before the end of the system blah blah blah?
the reason why i ask is my son was saying his mother has being on his case the last few weeks and then two days ago i got a telephone message from my sister, that hasn't spoke to me in 4 years, asking how i am doing.

My message to any hounder who wants to reactivate me: Are you willing to learn enough German so you can understand the answers I give? That is all the more likely the more of those German files I get to read--each German letter I find helps me with this. I doubt any of the hounders do any of that.
