The whole bible is designed to put us all into a condition to be enslaved. Removing spiritual and scientific knowledge is required to fully enslave the human species, and the bible does a good job at doing that. And, anything that contradicts this book of lies is bashed, protecting the lies that are going to have us all enslaved under full Noahide Law.

Were You Willing To Die For Jehovah?
by minimus inwe were supposed to be dedicated unconditionally to jehovah god.
we were willing to be persecuted to the death if need be.
if it came to taking a blood transfusion or dying, we were loyal to jehovah and would be a martyr for god.

They deserve nothing at all. I feel that the best way to deal with the blood issue is to not have it come up. This means safety first. Carrying a bright umbrella in rain (especially with poor visibility) instead of the approved drab one might stop you from getting hit in the first place, and then you won't go to the hospital at all. Using common sense and not going out in field circus when it is too dangerous might prevent an accident. Allowing people to exercise sensibly instead of denigrating it would allow people to get in shape, avoiding heart problems (and so would being less tight with time, so people don't need to eat at McDonald's every day).
Yet, they are so insistent on their rules that incidents happen that should have been prevented. Instead of returning safely home, they fight to refuse blood. They never ballyhoo anyone that is sensible enough to stay home in dangerous conditions instead of going to the boasting session, and then avoid a trip to the hospital that forces them to miss 10 or 15. Better for them if people suffer needlessly, get into needless fights, and waste so much time in the hospital than to have people not get hurt at all.

Current JW growth in the United States in historical perspective and in comparison with other groups
by slimboyfat incurrent jw growth is slower than during most of their history.
the only probable exceptions are following 1975 when there was a brief worldwide decrease, the late 1920s when around half of the members left the movement, perhaps around the 1917 schism, and various schisms during russell’s time.
there were also periods of sluggish growth during the 1950/60s and around 2000. .

I think most of the jokehovian numbers are also bogus. Unlike the mor[m]ons, they do not have systemic doctoring of the numbers. They do it at the local levels. People turning in fake or pressured time slips. Hounders making fake slips in behalf of those who otherwise turn in nothing. Add this to the fact that many actually do time, but don't believe half of what they are told or do things against their own religion and are not accounted for, and you have inflated numbers. Not to mention those who turn in token service plus maybe one or two boasting session attendances per month.
I would like to see the numbers if they define "membership" my way. Only those who, according to their own theology, would definitely be saved if Armageddon would happen right now, count. Using this number, I would suspect well under a million--probably only 500,000 to 800,000 in this category. This leaves the majority being active but not sincere. Maybe doing token service, maybe practicing sin in secret, maybe wishing they were not in the religion in the first place. But, according to their own theology, such would be destroyed because joke-hova "sees hearts".

Another video, another language (this time, Italian). Which, to me, is not quite so valuable to befuddle the hounders since there is at least one hounder that is fluent in Italian, and at least one other pious-sneer. Which is more than can be said about certain other languages--I would like to see how many understand German or the Slavic languages, or Sanskrit.
Hint: A lot of washtowel vocabulary has the opposite meaning if one uses Sanskrit than it would in Hebrew. The term "Satan", for instance, means "adversary" in Hebrew. But, it means "Truth" in Sanskrit. Anyone that can become fluent in Sanskrit ought to have a good time taking the bible and throwing it right back in their faces.

This is probably one of the longest running sites of its kind. I have seen other similar forums fizzle out. Even web sites have come and gone. Yet, this one is not only holding its own, but it has become the site one should research before deciding to become a jokehovian.
Sure, there have been changes. But, most of them have been to accommodate people. I remember when I first came, they had a few rules they have eased up on. One is "Posting in a language other than English". Since they softened up on that, I have seen (and downloaded) numerous files in German, and there have been things in other languages as well. While the primary language here remains and always will remain English, it does help to have occasional material in other languages (which I will use if I get cornered into meeting with the hounders--none of whom will understand a word of German, and relatively few know anything but English and Spanish). That should be fun, if it comes to that.
Going back even farther, I understand that the site started as a place where active jokehovians could come to, and it turned into this instead of remaining strict pro-jokehovian. Which is nice, since it provides a place where people that are leaving can come to, and anyone thinking of joining the cancer can research before committing.

For the record, the video is in German. And that is how I intend to reply if I get called out on why I don't attend boasting sessions any more. In German. And they are going to have a miserable time trying to understand a word of it--I am getting so I can understand bits and pieces of it, even at speed and in this sort of environment. And, if I do send a disassociation letter, it will be in German.
To any hounders--have fun trying to read it.

Happy Alcoholic Jehovah's Witnesses
by The Bethelite infor many years since the witness organization, after i have told people that i'm no longer a jehovah's witness, people would say "oh the religion were people are not allowed to drink!".
"no they drink alright.....they can't do much of anything else but they do drink!".
in fact the first place i ever got drunk was bethel.

Jokehovians are not allowed to smoke or use drugs, but they can and do drink alcohol. Their view is that alcohol, in moderation, is food. The same with coffee. It is the Mor[m]ons that are not allowed to drink alcohol or coffee. I do not know much about the Seventh Day Adventists on alcohol, but they do follow a semi-vegetarian diet.
I personally think these religions are all bunk. And I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs. Drugs just make one stupid, and smoking ruins your health in every imaginable way. But, with regard to alcohol, it is your business if you choose to drink. But, if you choose to drink and drive, then it becomes my business and that of everyone else on the road. Drink driving is not merely a sin, it is a crime and can and does lead to serious accidents including death to innocent people.

How Do You Think Eco Terrorists Should Be Dealt With?
by minimus inrecently, some activists decided to interrupt a train that was delivering coal.
police were called and 10 hours later the activists were dispersed.
it’s not unusual now to see picketers close down a bridge or a street for “climate change “.

And what about those who are responsible for holding back technology in the first place? They need to lose their protection as "God's chosen people"--the whole organization. You cannot call out these people because you will be deemed "anti-semite" or something along those lines, or "against god". The vatican, the seat of the cat lick church that has been holding back science since its inception, simply has to go. As do those who are working to bring the reptilians on this earth--by heating the planet up and then blaming the common people. They need the worst punishment possible--and being humane is the least of my worries with these.
For the regular people that are trying to halt the technology we are allowed from being used, they need to be held accountable as well. Disorderly conduct charges would probably suffice, plus they should pay reparations for whatever damage they cause and for making people late for work or school (or whatever else). The leaders, and especially if they are doing more to hold back society and using this as a blind, deserve harsher penalties (and even harsher if they try hiding behind some political correctness bulls***).

Does Anyone Elses PIMI Family Do A "Not Christmas" Day?
by pale.emperor ini was told today that my jw family had a massive family gathering with presents exchanged, drinks and a big roast dinner.
they even wore paper hats.. the day they chose for this family day?.
26th december.. totally not christmas or anything - honest.. does anyone elses family do that?
-
WTWizard
One idea: Celebrate it on December 23. If they want to bash the holiday and those who celebrate it as "pagan", let's go all out and use the original Pagan date and do it then. Exchange the gifts on December 23, and have all the festivities then. Then, when December 25 comes, they can go to all boasting sessions and tell the hounders that they are not celebrating Christmas. All, technically without lying because they are celebrating Yule, not Christmas.
In this situation, everyone except joke-hova wins. The congregation gets the "no Christmas", the children get their presents (2 days earlier than everyone else, to boot), and the proper Yule date is observed. And, while they are at it, they can move the other holidays to their proper places and celebrate those as the Pagan religions once did. Easter can be moved to the Vernal Equinox--Astaroth's Day. Lammas Day can be celebrated in much the same way Kwanzaa is today--the first of August. (It is the day of the harvest.) About the only holiday that this will not work well with is Halloween, because that is relatively unchanged and the date is still October 31.

Is it possible to nullify a baptism?
by idk123 inhope you are all well,.
i was wondering within the organisation if there are any guidelines or grounds for nullifying a baptism.
see i grew up a jehovah's witness and was baptised at age 13, i didn't get baptised for the right reasons, i felt pressured to because my friends were getting baptised at the same time.

And what about those who were baptized under duress? They think this will be a fix to whatever is wrong, only to realize they are actually helping joke-hova to evict the whole human race (the book of Joshua is actually a template on how this will be done) so the reptilian race can move in. Can they undo their baptism? Or, if they thought they were doing good only to realize they are contributing to the enslavement, not liberation, of the whole earth?
This applies equally to those baptized during the 1975 rush and the fad in the mid 1980s, before they had the Internet to cross-check. And also to those who abused drugs and got scammed into the religion--or those who didn't take school seriously and now cannot think logically. Are these legally bound to a contract they made under false pretexts?
