  About "dawg" and growth...

  i only checked in here briefley yesterday and missed dawg's "good-by" thread.

  i posted there just now, but don't know if he is checking in any longer.. many of you realize he and i have had our differences.

  in fact, is was after a "cyber-fight" with me that he left the last time.. when he returned, he pm'd me several times just making nice, brief little comments on things i'd post.

  Am I the only one here that starting to find 'changlings' attitude rather patronsing?

  You have just posted about Dawg as though he's seen the error of his ways in his frank exchanges with you. As though being here and 'banging heads' with you has taught him a lfe lesson?

  Sorry, but as far as I can see we're all on here for mutual support, and in the same was Dawg is/was not obliged to learn anything from you neither am I? Why would he have to send you personal messages to make you understand where he was coming from?

  Tell me changling, in what ways have YOU developed, what concessions have you made in you opinions to adapt to life with JWD?

  Because we all develop and grow in life, and without a doubt the exit from the borg gives us all reason to think, but as far as I'm concerned this board if exactly here for frank exchanges, without having to make apoligies for what our opinions are.

  since the "in" and "active" jw's have their dating websites, what about us?

  at the moment, i see myself, at a future date, feeling most comfortable with someone with a similar background, someone who understood the issues left over from the experience of being a jw.

  would all the elders know ?

  if there was a police investigation going on in a congregation for child abuse and at least three elders knew about that , would they inform all the other elders what was going on ?

  i tried to discuss the matter with an elder concerning my child that had been abused , and he said to me i dont know what you are talking about and dont want to know !

  after the court case had finished i complained about his attitutude to me and how it had upset me and was told by an elder that the other elder really did not know what i was talking about as only 2 or 3 elders deal with such things .

  a senior lawyer for the american government has told the court of appeal in london that kidnapping foreign citizens is permissible under american law because the us supreme court has sanctioned it.

  the admission will alarm the british business community after the case of the so-called natwest three, bankers who were extradited to america on fraud charges.

  Yeah we were chaperoned. ruddy annoying practice!

  Got away on our own whenever we could althoug our 'gawd given conciences' didnt allow us to do anything too naughty... likt get o know one another.
