With the WTBS ... NO
But by myself ... OH YEAH ! ... but I don't read it word for word (but conceptually, in between the lines and contextually). and it doesn't say what it's seems to say at first, it's way more deeper ... (lots of symbolisms in the story and contextual examples)
For instance I realise that Adam and Eve represent what we are from our first day of life (inconscious - with free will and little by little we're going to obey to wisdom or not. And in our situation egocentrisme is contagious, only charity (every kind) shows your concerne.through others ... The old testament shows that in being overprotected (Adam and Eve - the Jews : it doesn't lead anywere and ask you to respect many laws - like a kid but in being overprotected you can't grow or you become a spoiled kid ... and so on ...That's when Jesus come's into the picture for good, (enough with laws - means grow up - you've got every demonstrations and history is telling where egocentrism leads) he says look take example (I'm giving myself for you - Charity) and from that he does not ask to be perfect (read Roman 7 very funy) but just at least not want the bad. (that's not a lot to ask) ...
and wanting the bad is blasphemy against the Holly Spirit (hypocrisy : you know you are acting bad but you don't care and stay contagious)
Basically ... that's what I read ... all in all conceptually.

Otherwise Engaged...
by LittleToe injust a little breaking news:.
after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.
last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..

He he he !!!
You know what I knew it, I knew it, I knew it ... but way before ... from pictures I've seen a long time ago (just the way Diane was looking at you and standing next to you) I don't know since when you are together but I knew something had or would happen in between the two of you because Xena is one of a kind woman! (sensitive and loving) you match!
Congrats, Xena and Ross it's so cool !

Do you have a personal hero?
by zagor ini was just doing my page on myspace and this question really stuck with me.
i dont know if something is wrong with me or what, but if i have to answer this question truthfully i have to say i dont have one.
i like to learn about many different people and their achievements but in reality i just like being myself and not try to emulate someone else.

Damn' Outofservice ! you went faster than me on this one !
Since I've read the bible by myself
I would say Jesus Christ too (and I'm not kidding !!!) ... Why? Because this guy had everything spiritually COMPASSIONATE AND BOLD - WITY/STRAITFORWARD at the same time EVEN FUNY (you have to read in between the lines - in Paul's messages too) and A REAL GIVER in every matters that really matter ... WISE
I'm far from trying to be like him (give me 10 000 years and I might only try to get there), but he is my hero NOW !

she cooks, she cleans, she helps him dress.

(((JG)))
I don't know if what I'm going to say will help or not (because you are nervous - maybe it's not the right time) if you are not ready to hear something you don't want to hear don't read me. Anyway I could be wrong about what I will say
Your grandpa seems to have what he needs to make sure someone will take care of him ... (I don't know if I'm clear here ...) Well let him choose what he wants ...
The one you have to take care of is your mom (moreover if she needs surgery) that's how she will be sure you she can count on you...
People who's got money and treats others like their dog want to see how far they can go to see how far you will go either they are MF or full of doubts means : They think that you want to get what they can give you and if you stick to them even if they treat you like dog they think that you are not there because you love them. Don't get into this game ... it's a sick game. You won't loose his love because you tell him what he is for real ... (you might get the reverse ... maybe he just want to know if you are ready to lose what he think you are runing for).

Please say hello to my wife.
by nicolaou ini've been posting here for quite a long time, so long in fact that it just doesn't feel right that my wife isn't a part of it.
earlier today i created an account for her with the username heron, she'll know why.
i'm not sure if my wife will ever post here but i would feel much more comfortable knowing she is aware that i do.. this is the one post i am going to ask her to read.. so, i'd really appreciate it if you could say hello to my lovely wife.

Carbon Dating Question... sort of...
by LtCmd.Lore inok, first of all i would like to point out that i don't fall for the lousy story of the canopy being over the earth before the flood, thus nullifying any carbon dating that dates back more that 5000 years.
but the witnesses do, so therefore it may become neccasary to confront them on it.. so here's the question.
and it may seem like a stupid one to anyone who knows anything about the subject: if there was a canopy of water covering the earth interfering with the radiation... wouldn't it reduce the amount of radiation reaching the surface, therefore making the carbon atoms degradate at a slower pace instead of faster?

oy oy oy ... I don't know man ... Wow
To believers their is only 2 possibilities (so they won't care)
They just believe that God can do anything, but it wouldn't match with what the scientists are saying by now if you absolutely want to stick to the story word for word ... but you can also see it conceptually great flood = great cleaning (however it happens - totally or partially or even in an other way - the boat and everything could be only symbolism).
Jw's already can't/are not allowed to have doubts about what the governing body is saying, they don't care about the science or even what the bible is really saying if it doesn't match the WTBS's teaching. So ...
