Just like to say,
Thanks Bluebrother, JWfacts, leftbelow, greendawn, and wha happened
for adding your view points.
From a historical and logical perspective but leaving out the self view point.
When someone puts in their own view point it is no better then those they
disagree with.
The WBTS does enough of this with out others helping.
Again thanks joelbear69 for bring up the subject.

by joelbear69 inthe bible says the 144000 would be the first fruits.
witnesses have interpetted that over .

Joelbear69,
Me rarely have much to say about matters.
However, on thing subject, 144,000, me has
been expressing your thoughts for many, many
many, years.
The figures do not add up.
In fact just two weeks ago me brought the
subject up again, (me often do, great point for
getting ones mind working, if one wants ones
mind to work) the person just look at me.
Not condemning or condoning, but were are
peoples minds.
Thanks for bring the subject up.

New Here
by LearningMore ini have been lurking here for a couple of months.
i was born and raised as a witness, and am a little weirded out to even be posting on here (you know the paranoia).
anyway, i faded about 10 years ago, and after reading so many posts, i am so happy that it was a pretty uneventful experience.

Local needs: 40% of the congregation are irregular at meetings
by truthseeker inwell, our local needs talk was a bit out of the ordinary - normally it's something mundane like improving bible studies.. after harping on about the good things the congregation is doing, we got to the meat.. there are 100 publishers in the cong - 40% of them are irregular meeting attenders.. the elder said that those who are irregular at meetings are also irregular on field service.. he also said the elders would continue to shepherd these ones, yet most of us never get as shepherding call.. he said that those who've lost their joy feel this way because they don't fellowship often enough and lack appreciation for sacred things.. there are those who are liberal, manifest an independent spirit and have worldly associations.. he even said that those who need to hear this counsel are those who are missing.. .
oh well.
i suppose it's good news..

Truthseaker,
Me usually do not have anything to say about most subject,……. But ………..
Me has to agree with Gopher on this subject, “I always loved it when they had a
special needs part that at the meet, for those who weren’t there”. Never did get
the point their reasoning.
It’s like me has said many a time here on JWD and at the hall.
90% of the elders are not educated enough for what is required of them. It’s true.
Results -- uneducated comments.
Me can remember as it was yesterday, back in the 60’s walking up to a servant
an saying, “Do you realize that the ones who needed this information are not here?.
The response, like Dick Cheney. SO.
It appears time has not helped enough to see a change.
Sorry, me thinkin’ me talkin’ too much. -

Trouble mind,
I agree with Caliber's comment about you,
"Thank you, it's very refeshing to hear positive, optimistic, uplifting,
cheery stories and comments!"
While me has been around the internet with H20 and JWD sense
they came, the positive, optimistic, uplifting, cherry stories and
comments are of lately lacking.
In my personal life me will not have dealing with person who are
always on the down side of life.
If it would not be for my business me would probably be a hermit.
That is probably why you always here me say here on JWD,
"Me thinkin' me talkin' too much".
Not much to talk about.
Thanks for giving me something to talk about.
Me is happy for you and your family.
Wish you the best. -

Need help disassociating
by Lo inhi, i am 19 and from ireland.
i have been studying the bible with jws for more than a year, and enough is enough.
i simply decided i don't want to be answerable to a human organisation like that who like to think they have the answers that they simply cannot have.
-
ibme
Lo,
Me would like to say one thing,
The one you are studying with will be your
friend only to the day you say NO.
Whether you are baptized of not.
Why?
The WBTS only want people who will agree
only with it. Their people are programed to
respond in like matter.
Once you disagree you will be shunned.
Sound harsh, but that is the way it goes.
Sometimes me thinkin' me talkin' too much.
Thanks -
