  Meanwhile, the judge who sentenced him also ordered the British medianot to report on his case. Newspapers that had already posted reports of his arrest quickly took them down. Even ordinary citizens who had written about the arrest on social media removed their posts, for fear of sharing Robinson's fate. All this happened on the same day.

  I posted that a day or so past.

  You and others who cast this in color must realize that creates a special hazard for Sikhs, exMuslims, Hindus who appear to turn against their own communities if they make common cause for Justice with Robinson.

  They used to shout “n——-r lover” at whites who only thought justice should be color blind.

  If you have evidence to the contrary, l am interested in knowing it.

  When l read these verses and reflected on the best examples of love that could be rendered from the gospels I yet hoped that Jesus was messaging something different than the OT. I hoped that whatever the law allowed did not oblige me to implement cruelty. For example, marry but do not treat your woman as property. Respect the least powerful as worthy, etc.

  If there was a Jesus, he may have tried to buck the system gently—who can know? Even if so, Christian Church structure held to the worse parts. If Jesus wanted to live above the Law, religious lawyers killed him. “ The servant is not above his master. If they did this to me they will do it to you also”

  Religion is law. It kills one way or another. So we have to leave religion to live well. That’s what l decided.

  Tommy says lawless Islamic groups are throughout the north of England. He notes their aggression and he is full of righteous anger. He is calling for men to be responsible (as Jordan Peterson rightly calls men to step forward). Lord Pearson is a man of that sort. But the women too are there. It is often the women who take their daughters to the police, who press the charge and demand justice.

  With respect, Luhe, it is well to keep color out of this entirely.

  People of colour who don't like white people should best give the UK a miss - us whiteys are like rats, we're everywhere in the UK. XD)

  Truly, Britannia has crosses the color line in every colony. Color? The various shades of babies that issue forth after the troops leave— it is shameful to color code humanity. Britain especially. Her chicks will roost somewhere...but by law. And most do want law...

  As it is, there are actually quite a few brown skinned Sikhs, Hindus, Christians and ex-Muslims who are on Tommy's side.

  The issue is Law not Color. Hold everything and everyone to it.

  This may be silly, but have wondered who keeps up with the principled approach to dealing with radical Islam as opposed to a prejudiced view against Muslims? That Lord Pearson has the best handle on this distinction as far l can see. He wants things made clear. He is not viewed as a far-right agitator l hope? The conversation Tommy Robinson had with him is a model for protest to follow. The man is solid.

  Address of police department was West Yorkshire where Tommy was arrested?

  Relevant authorities where Tommy is held?

  British men should announce that they will not shave or cut their hair until they are satisfied that justice is served truly for Tommy. ( Muslim men will be consternated with the intentions of their own beards)Women will find a way to protest.

  There must be push back.

  As for protecting a him in prison—if he is where his enemies are and the correctional officers are afraid or bought he is at the mercy of the inmates.

  When the truth about what a person’s story gets this distorted there is so much chaos that people who are measured and law abiding become confused. When the strands of the story don’t hold anymore they revert to their biases. Do rowdy white brawlers put you off? Down with Tommy! Do foreigners make your skin crawl? Down with Brown skins! Sometimes rational people don’t believe that things can be this fucked up. But it can happen.

  My son was in an Arkansas prison. For decades they have been run by the inmates. The guards themselves are afraid or in collusion with the network. The power and communication is there. They extort money for protection, they have the ability to terrorize free people.

  If there is genuine concern for the principle of law then citizens should stand solid with Tommy on principle—do not let the thing continue as a Muslim vs. White Britain matter. Demand justice, transparency. Honesty.

  It means getting some skin in the game. At least a little- maybe a lot- of time.

  Where ever this finds you tonight, l am gobsmacked,Son of the Trinity. Your post flew over me. I couldn’t find any context. So l went back in time and found you in a three year old conversation that l loved. You were worried about your boy in school and there were some of our good friends talking to you and you to them. (I hope all is well now)

  What l missed today in your sliding humor l caught in your sharp prose. I hope you aren’t disturbed if l paste your remarkable assessment of the JW religion and your efforts to make objection to it:

  I have become one of those anti-religious Jesus Freaks. I won't cut my hair or beard until my wife leaves the religion is just an example of my hating the fact that the JWs have become Charles Taze Russells worst nightmare, Churchianity at its worst. All the guilt of Catholicism without all the cute little bells and whistles, all the intolerance of Islam without any of the scholarship or valor, all the victimhood and paranoia of Judaism without any of the independent thinking and chutzpah. It has all the bad qualities of all the so-called false religions that it slanders.

  it was archived and they weren't clear as to when or if they would come back.

  it seemed to come out of nowhere, and i know a lot of people were disappointed.

  Thanks for bringing it up , Dub. You would know not to take it for granted!

  This is my fifth camp out on the forum. It has been a stable outpost since l left the Organization. Some new interesting posters have come and other great folks have gone but the fort stands.

  I slipped in here after Bethel’s silly response arrived, Between that time and the day l sent a letter saying what l thought of the men in Brooklyn, l brought my mixed up thoughts to this board. There was nowhere else l could turn who knew what breaking away could do to a person.

  When my elder texted the answer to “Have l been announced?” I bought a $3 beer at the local bar to celebrate my “divorce.”

  This place was awake when l returned and told my news.

  Some one is always here. Suport, comfort, advice, maybe argument, or just a silent 👍🏽. It squeezes my heart to think of this place folding.

  I don’t know how you do it either, Simon. But l am so glad you have kept it going.

  TD— my youngest son is a game aficionado. I have never played but he has taken me through two games -or at least as much as I could stand. One I did go all through because it had a great story. I am surprised to say.

  Gamers even have magazines. The quality of art is high. My son has pointed out that the scenes created for stories that are more in nature than in, say, buildings consider all the things that make the games convincing: The time of day, the position of the sun that in turn affects the shadows. Ambient sounds etc. pull the players into many hours of it. He is the only gamer and he is far too absorbed in this after work in my opinion.

  There are only 24 hours in the day. The interactions you have in a game absolutely are not equal to real world relationships. They are fantasy.

  People need friends and involvement

  And 2+2 is right. You describe the killing well.

  Recalibration of the spirit is as you say, Coco, rough, beautiful, terrifying. Uncertain.

  Mostly I remember how often l would surrender my anxiety ( try to) with these ideas :“in the end it will be all right” or “all our tears will be dried”.

  I hope you are finding comforts enough,Coco, in the considerable good you do for others. When people learn to communicate and make music! That is lovely.
