Zed, were you frightened when you saw the white woman in your bedroom? was it an ominous presence, or a comforting one?

My story - part 2 :-) This time its not so jumbled
by Zed ini'm slowly beginning to think that much of what we do is led by something, or at least prompted by something.
since i moved to the se i began to indulge in things that i enjoyed - mostly it was playing rpg's both computer based and the real 'nasty, evil, satan worshipping' pen and paper types.
i remember how, when i first expressed an interest in playing dungeons and dragons when i was about 12 - 13yrs old my study conductor pulled out the article in the asleep (i think it was) that ran through why it was evil!!!

Lost filling is chilling!
by Virgochik inoh, god, people, i knew what it was as soon as i chomped down on it.
yep, there's no mistaking that hunk of filling when you chew on it.
does anyone else dread going to the dentist?

Lol, Jayhawk, I was thinking...if a crown is about 800 dollars, and a whole set of dentures around 2000, it'd be cheaper to just have them all pulled! Maybe fillings and crowns aren't lasting longer because there's money to be made! And I'm too vain to want dentures. But it'd make more sense, wouldn't it? That's ridiculous, a filling lasting such a short time. I'd be upset, too! Will the dentist fix it for free? I guess there's no warranty on teeth, is there?

Oh, god, people, I knew what it was as soon as I chomped down on it. Yep, there's no mistaking that hunk of filling when you chew on it. Does anyone else dread going to the dentist? That burning smell as they drill away yoour molar, and the suction thingy and water thingamajiggy really get me stressed. How do others stay calm, when it can drag on for 2 hours? Any tips to sidetrack my mind are appreciated. I've got an appointment tomorrow. And do they have to recline the chair so far back?
It's hell getting old. Some of my fillings must be 20 years old!

Got my KN # 37 on Sunday
by cyberdyne systems 101 ini was doing some work on my car, when this dub turns up to give me the tract.
he makes his presentation in a way that doesnt promote discussion.
unfortunately i feel slightly frustrated that i didnt ask him a few questions, ok he wouldnt have listened or would have claimed to go away and research it, but still i felt i missed a golden opportunity to give a 'witness' back.

They stuffed ours in the screen door and ran away. We were home, too, so they must've been very quiet. We didn't hear anybody come up on the porch.
Shelly, that's so tacky of your Mom. Rude = rude, in any religion! Rudeness is not OK, just cuz she's a JW. (For Mom's benefit)

hubby had his last week. He was sedated and comfy. Afterwards, we went out for breakfast! He said it didn't hurt and he really didn't feel it. Plus, he was "happy" and really didn't care!

Finally got the Tract
by liquidsky in>>she was by herself which i thought was kind of strange.
don't they have to go in groups of 2?.
during these hit-n-run tract campaigns they often go to doors by themselves.

Elder's wife nosing in... need help with a letter
by merfi inhey all.
i read through my 10yo open msn window where she was chatting with the elder's wife... a few of the highlights are:.
do you think you might like to come to a meeting sometime?
-
Virgochik
I agree with Blondie...keep it simple. How would Mrs. Elderette like it if she discovered someone was e-mailing HER child to come away with them? What if Merfi started coaxing her daughter to hop in the car for a ride to Mass or something? Bet the s*it would hit the fan!
