  to which i exploded back with an email.

  Agree with both of you. I may have hastened my fade, I don't want to lose my brother, I really do love him and my nieces and nephews. The carzy thing is non of them are strong JW at all. Miss most meetings, dont do service and so on and so on. But with this, they will stand up. The rest of my family views them as WEAK already. I am familiar with FOG model and BITE model.

  I hope that I can postpone any kind of DFing. I really don't want that, and my family is all on the other side of the country, not even sure if they know what hall I am in now, I am going to say no they dont.

  If anything I think this is making my wife see some reason believe it or not. The two of us have had many knock down drag out (metaphorically speaking) fights about the "Truth". And that is coming to an end. Not happening anymore. She has become far less judgmental as of late, not just of me, but in general.

  Since, my brother will not return my texts, no work from mom, or uncle. not sure how many other people in my family know, but they love to talk about negative things so I am sure they are sharing this tragedy of me losing faith in God and JW.org.

  On a side note, the wife seems very sympathetic to my predicament. She seems very neutral, but still not taking their side at all.

  I love my family and they all knew I was fading for a long time (according to them they've been "worried for a while").

  So stupid so they'd rather me fake it (for their sake I guess) than be honest. So then if I renounce my rational mind to them and say JW.ORG is the best thing since sugar free cult koolaid, but still practice doubt and sin in private, whats the effing point of dfing for being an apostate?????

  after almost 24 years in the school and doing it since i was nine years old, i officially resigned.

  it has become increasingly difficult to prepare talks, especially with the new format for brothers.

  i did not mind doing them; i actually put the time and effort into getting them out.

  Living in the era of "Generation Me"

  this really got to me today at the wt study.. i am not ashamed to admit, i am part of that "generation".. you get one role of the dice in this life, you got to take what you can now, in order to have a good quality life later.. i agree, we need to help and show love to our fellow man.

  but, not when this becomes the priority above our own needs, wants and aspirations.. welcome to "generation me" wt, this is my time.. peace out..

  When you give yourself the right attention. And are generous and honest with who you are. There is an interesting side effect. You actually become more beneficial to others. Living in the jw vortex. You claim to be giving to others but are really always out for your own goals. Hours. Not to be humiliated. And so on. Screw them. Love yourself and you become more of an asset to others.

  I like it. I have heard a few refer to their publications as saying that if they could kill apostates legally they would. Can anyone show me one of these because I would love to have it. I know the unwritten feeling they have. But I would love to see something like that in print if it does exist.

  A coming out story to my mother.

  so i actually came out to my mother a few days ago.

  told her how i really felt about being a jw (jehovah's witness) and how i wasn't straight.

  i wasn't surprised by the disapproving response i got because really, i wasn't expecting any more.

  my mom was emailing a group thread of rhetoric about isis and armageddon, and i finally got sick of it and said some pretty intense harsh things about ideals, and wishing for armageddon.

  then it went back and forth like some debate, all the while i am holding back unloading serious ttatt on my family.

  i put a whole bunch of scriptures where the wonderful yahweh committed infanticide.
