i just wanted to take a minute and express the appreciation i feel for this place.
simon and angharad, thanks to you two for putting up with the crap necessary to keep this place available to disenfranchised outcasts like me.
also, thanks to the forum administrators who work to keep the place relatively cordial and welcoming.. but really, this forum would be nothing without the posters.
I would not have been able to come to the point where I am today if it were not for JWD. Like you AuldSoul I thank everyone here also from the bottom of my heart. There has been no one from the Org that has been able or willing to answer ANY of the questions I handed them from my research. I know now beyond any doubt that the WTS is a fraud. I thank you too AuldSoul for being there for me when I needed you.

This is a bunch of bullshit. The reason I am here is because of researching the WT on the internet. I am sure I'm one of many many persons who are no longer a witness due to looking up the WT on the net. When I had real questions about some of the things I learned, guess what?? NO ELDER would come over to answer my questions. Esspecially the one about Mexico/Malawi. So no wonder they don't want people to research on the net. They know that the TRUTH would set them FREE.

i got an email back from an elder this morning and it looks like the boe is going to treat my email as a letter of disassociation.
he said he was sad but would forward my email to the congregation that currently has my publishers card.
this wonderful elder also took the liberty of calling a brother that im really close to and told him about my email, he also sent him a copy (this brother is not an elder!).
the people that I love and care about will be forced to choose to either be faithful to their god or have a relationship with me. I know what they will choose.
Lola, hang in there. Your friends aren't choosing between a God and you, they are choosing between an Organiztional Cult and You.
As far as those elders are concerned, they will do whatever they want to. Knowing this in advance is why I told off two of them when they cornered me. I had my say, and they DF'd me. So be it. I know it's not an easy time right now, but it will get better.

i changed it so that i was saving it in the proper format and still nothing.
i am very, very frustrated.

here i sit, in my public library, typing away a computer from a hot nasty seat.. but i wouldn't be anywhere else in the world right now.
(okay, maybe a couple of other places).
i have to be at work in 40 minutes, and its a 15 minute drive from here, so lets not expect a novel of a post.. yesterday was my birthday, and they did a little cake thing for me and all that which was nice, but otherwise, nothing is new.. my mother seems to be cooling off, but lets just say that the "excrement flinging fan" hasn't been turned off yet.. i'm 18 now, and nothing is different.
Happy Happy Rich. Take things slowly. It will take some time to get on your feet. But once your're on your feet then you can start walking, then running. Take care, keep us posted.
