Sounds good...
I guess I'll be contacting myself pretty soon...
i threw this out on another thread and someone asked that i give it it's own.
there were other ideas thrown out, but this one is developed enough to merit discussion.
i am not sure how to pull this off.. .

i just got a sneak peek at a letter to all congregations.
it will be read at this week's service meeting.
i can't remember it word for word but the gist is: .
so lets say 8 million dollars get contributed to the society...
divide that by 617 COs.
That leaves 12,965 per CO. I do believe thats more than enough, considering that the cong pays for gas and food while they are at each cong and all the goody goodies slip him a 50 dollar bill on the last sunday of his visit.
I wanna be a CO when I grow up!!
i am very nervous about being in here.
i just got df'd last week and am unsure of how i feel about it.
i feel guilty but at the same time not.
Hopefully, with time, you will learn to recognize that your DFing was the best thing organization ever did for you. So congratulations on your freedom, and I hope all is well.
And --- oh yeah:
WELCOME!!
as many of you might have noticed, the may 2005 km has a group of 4 or 5 articles about scheduling family activities.
it includes a blank week long calendar and little slips that you can cut out and paste onto the calendar.
i think this is another crazy, last ditch effort to try and grab the remaining witnesses into the protective brood of the gb.
Been meaning to tell you RR, I don't like many 17yr olds, but you are an exception. You crack me up.
Well thank you.
So its not just me is it??

Here's what gets me. The calendar is for ONE WEEK. There are 7 pre-made slips that say "Daily Text" There is one for the TMS and Service meeting, along with one for the book study and ond for sunday's activities. There is one slip for the timing of the Family study. THen-- they give you one slip for Family recreation, meaning that the society thinks families only need to recreate one night a week. This is very clever and subtle and I assure you the R&F wont get it. But here's the real kicker....
They only give you one slip for field service.... So does that mean that we are only expected to go out once a week? Cause that's pretty cool....
Any thoughts?

my 11 year-old is getting picked on at school.
he is not cut out for competitive sports and not interested.
i've pushed my jw mindset aside and am considering letting him take a martial arts class (gasp).
I study YAWARA. Its Fillipino and teaches the use of blunt impact weapons to force the opponent into submission. While I respect the other arts, especially the Brazilian's, I think if he is getting picked on NOW then he needs to know how to deal with it NOW. A comrehensive study will take too long for him to be able to actually defend himself. Try to find a Martial Arts school that just teaches a self defense class. The belt is not important. And if he learns the IMPORTANT stuff first (ie more than stances and posotioning) he will be better adaept to denfend himself. I am a high school student and I of considerable size... I use my Yawara training to stop aggressors instead of causing GREAT physical harm (which I can do too).
mine was when my mom signed me up to sit at a table at our local university.
we had to sit there and talk to students as they passed by our table.
a few people came up to start a conversation and i didn't even know what they were talking about.
Going to McDonald's in a suit on Saturday. Especially considering that my whole resteraunt is satffed by people from my school.
Today in English we were discussing religion and I talked about my atheistic views and used my "accurate knowledge" of the Bible to make it work against itself. Then this girl literally goes, "but you came to my door once". So then I had to explain that My mother is a JW and I occasionally go out to appease her...
I could've died right then and there.
i just started doing this (blogging) and it is not unlike writing a diary put into public view.. there a zillions of these things floating around out there.
many are extremely inventive, artistic, interesting and startling.. however, most are utterly inane!.
sturgeon's law at work.
I had one, which I used to keep up with friends all over the US. I used PROFANITY and referenced LUDE ACTS OF LOOSE CONDUCT which I had participated in. Thats one of the reasons I'm on reporoof. I would start another one, but its too much work, And I use a lot of my spare time here...
i haven't picked up any publication of my husband's for a long time.
this morning i was up early, and decided to take a look at today's reading, as the book is always on the kitchen table.
sorry i don't remember the name of the book (daily reading??).
I read it everyday... I couldn't afford a Dilbert calender so I just get ny daily laugh from that.
go to school dressed as a dark jedi and bring my double bladed saber on may 19th.
