  im so frustrated i could kill myself right now!!

  im 15 and a couple weeks ago i confessed to my parents that i didn't want to be a jehovahs witness anymore and also that i was bisexual.

  i had just gotten back from an eating disorder clinic and my parents decided to put me back in school (i was homeschooling before).

  There are mental health hotlines you can call to talk to someone when you need to--many of them.

  IMO your focus needs to be on how to survive the next ~2 years until you're old enough to escape. You can do this.

  Working a lot. Overly excited about Halloween--I have 2 costumes so far this yr and if I had more time, there'd be a 3rd. I'm going to unabashedly wear one to work and love every minute of it. Basically geekifying my life--reading sciencey stuff, museums, stargazing and various Comicons. Planting some really cool stuff in my yard.

  Rutherford's last book "Children" 1941- Advice DONT HAVE KIDS...Where it all started!

  watchtower 1941 sept. 15 p.283, 288 "in front of the convention platform the children recieving there free gift (copy) not as a play thing but as the lords instrument for the work in the remaining months before armagedon..." so what lovely message did the kids get from judge rutherford?

  children 1941page 281 "no children were taken onto noah's ark...it is proper to wait until after armagedon to have children...its only afew more years till armagedon..." the book concluded.

  "(john and his girlfriend talk) ...armagedon is surely near our hope is within afew years our marriage will be consumated and we will have sweet children...we will defer marriage and pioneer ...we will not see each other for a time.." thats why i dont have kids it all started with this fools book!.

  rebel8, I'd like to see a link to that report. We don't want to be like the WTS with vague references to support material.

  blondie, you have criticized me for this in the past too, when someone posted a question and I gave them an idea on where to find the answer.

  I find this reaction something like:

  Q: "Hey, does anyone know if you can feed maple syrup to hummingbirds safely?"

  A: "I remember reading an article about it, try searching Audobon Society's site." (No statement about what the alleged article says. I've made no assertion about maple syrup, so I have no assertion to support.)

  Response: "You didn't post the article and a link to it--you're like the wts!"

  This is somewhat offensive, to tell you the truth. If you want to do research for others, that's your choice, but everyone should not have to do that or be likened to an evil, lying cult.

  My anointed mother sleep over!! She hears demon creaking at night and my wife cheats on me!

  visiting her "lost son" and this morning she says there was demonic "knocking" on the windows and ceiling and she did not sleep.

  my wife has her own buisness and works late so her holiness asked me to drive down to see if she was fornicating with anyone....she thinks two worldly people taking an elevator to the 10 floor would have had sex by the 5th floor....thats the quality of anionted alive today...she is not nuts a well respected pioneer nazi..... .

  break between the talk and the wt study on sundays.

  the break was supposed to be to allow jw's time to drive their bible studys home from the talk.

  I think I remember that in the 1970s, and then it was eliminated. IIRC people just wanted to get the whole Sunday meeting thing done with so they could get home. I was a kid then and thought it made the meeting seem a lot longer.

  There have been a lot of assertions without evidence presented.

  For example, please provide evidence that "scientists think everything came from nothing". That is the opposite of everything I've ever heard and read. (Atoms and molecules are not "nothing".)

  And then we have the assertion that there is a god and he/it prefers to not communicate with us. Evidence?

  JW attitudes to women

  i would be very interested to hear from you ladies on this one.

  i know that the society keeps women in subjugation through the headship cr@p but didn't ahve any sense about hoew prehistoric the attitudes are until the other day when we were driving out of the supermarket car park and my wife spotted a woman dressed in tight shorts (it has been very hot here) and she commented 'they say that women who dress like that dserve to be raped'.

  i did a wtf and overreacted 'how can you blame the victim like that - such attitudes give men a lciense to commit rape and make women feel they are to balme if they get raped which in turn means that rape doesn't get reported and it gopes on with impunity.

  The misogyny in the cult is extremely sick. I've posted so much about it in this forum I'm afraid the other old timers have had enough of me on the soapbox about this. lol.

  Google "pregnant as the result of even one sex interview, watchtower jehovah".

  The misogyny is not just mean, it's dangerous. For me, not being allowed to have blood products meant many close calls. The odds were waaaaay against me surviving until adulthood. But I could have been greatly helped by a single, cheap little pill each day. I was not allowed to have that because taking birth control pills would make me sex crazy like cows (refer to the article I mentioned in the paragraph above). Yes, because apparently jw girls are one tiny pill away from a starring role on Girls Gone Wild.

  The way they treated rape and rape victims was beyond reprehensible as well.
