I put some random words into my prefrontal cortex and it responded as follows:
"The flowingness of your self-congratulatory gullibility challenges the limitations of earthly rubbish bins".
I laughed for a straight 60 seconds on that one. EPIC

Your creativity need not go to waste. Join meetup.com and search for groups and events near you, in things that interest you. Take a crafts course or arts guild--endless things to do and learn, if you like that stuff!
How is it possible there is no volunteer work for you? How about reading to old people, visiting kids in the hospital, etc.? Good lord, hospitals always need volunteers. Some NICUs use volunteers just to hold the babies--it's healthy for the little ones.
You sound like you're surrounded by selfish people and have been in the past too. I was too. I've severely limited those relationships and hopefully I'll replace them with better friends in the future.
If your husband won't get help for his drinking, good news! You can get help for yourself. This will help you sort things out and deal with it so YOU feel better. You can see a doctor, counselor, social worker, etc. or you can go to a support group for nonprofessional support.

it's a practice that's been the butt of jokes for decades: a pair of jehovah's witnesses turning up suited and booted on your doorstep.. but the days of the 140-year-old religious order's members trudging door-to-door in the rain could soon be numbered.. thousands have switched tactics to stand on street corners in more than a dozen cities across britain - and unusually for public preachers, they are staying almost completely silent.. leaders believe it is a better tactic in modern britain, where people do not like being approached directly and prefer browsing as if in a shop.. three years after the same tactic was introduced in new york, witnesses have been standing on pavements in at least 13 cities across britain and handing out tens of thousands of magazines.. unlike other evangelical preachers, they do not shout or call attention to themselves - instead standing in near-silence until someone approaches them.. 'i guess that's just not our style,' said mark o'malley, a spokesman for the jehovah's witnesses at their london headquarters.. 'we have used inventive approaches down the years.
we used "sound cars" in the 1930s which would relay lectures in the street from megaphones on the roof.. 'radio was used a lot later on and our members wore placards and sandwich boards.
I saw one of those booths on library property recently. I consulted with an attorney from FFRF.org who confirmed it is legal in the US to use gov't property in that fashion unless certain groups are being favored over others.
My library's policy is to permit groups with differing views to promote free exchange of ideas and freedom of speech. I am considering writing to my library board with quotes from the litteratrash that restrict freethinking and freedom of speech.
I do not like religious groups using government property. I feel it violates my legal right to freedom from religion. Unfortunately, it's a feeling, not a fact, that such property usage violates my legal rights.
Perhaps other jurisdictions would have more luck than I did.
oh the foolishness of youth.
there i was assigned to parking at the district assembly in montreal.
i was single, and in the full-time service.
That was me, and I kept going because you were wearing that blue bonnet.
does the usa still require the oath of allegiance?.
have any of the current gb made such an oath?.
where or how would i find a copy?.
Have you tried Google to see what is required for getting a passport now and if there's an option for religious objection?
comments?.

losingit, what is the time stamp when CPR was indicated? I'm not seeing it. Thanks.
someone in my family many years back was pursued very intensely by jws in her neighborhood to become one of the pack.
two or three jws would meet with her each week and they would discuss the bible, with which she was well versed, and also some of their supplementary commentary material of a high ratio of drag to lift.
she became more and more enthusiastic about the bible, but did notice significant discrepancies between the text and the study material.
Putting aside the fact that the bible is bunk, why would this question stump them? I don't get it. It could mean something like:
"Write down in a book all that you see, and send it to the seven congregations of [Pennsylvania] Eaton, Scranton, Pittsburgh, Thornbury, Sadsbury, Philadelphia, and Lancaster..."

AWESOME. Thanks for sharing this.
i am pretty sure it has been discussed before here, but i just wanted to express how repulsive it is to me to see all that jw.org worship.. after looking at this picture, can you tell me where the jws are heading to?.
.
it makes me want to vomit.. cheers..
Ok, I'm just gonna say it. Why is this upsetting?
I'm kinda shocked that people are repulsed by what the Borg calls "idolatry" but is really just mainstream religion (and life, for that matter--we use objects to represent all sorts of ideas about ourselves and the world).
The Borg taught us Catholics and others who use objects in their faiths is repulsive--did you independently form that belief after leaving the Borg, is it a leftover, or what? I'm honestly curious.
Surely it's not the hypocrisy that prompts such a word as "repulsive"? They've done other hypocritical things in the past that caused death and torture.
Interesting news though.
