my wife and i, along with her sister and friend went on a picnic today to the mountains of va. about an hour and half drive.
on the way someone asked what day of the month is it?
i looked at my watch and said the 10th.

Don't be so hard on yourself, the last line you wrote about 28 years ago to marry your wife was a decision that was not a dumb decision, would melt ones heart.
We have been married 31 years this Sept. and my hubby says things like that to me, and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

affection or sex?
by affection here i mean snuggling, kissing, hand holding, all the little things.
Most assuredly AFFECTION would be my choice.

I really thought there would be some mention of JW and abuse, but it was other cults they discussed.
Spoke of the abuse to children when they were young, the use of cattle prodes, the locking them up, beatings, and sexual assualt.
I found it discusting, what young innocent children had to deal with.
They should do to these people exactly what they did to these children and get a taste of what they were doing to them.
a reunion perhaps, a party, a beautiful view shared with an equally stunning partner, what was ever, the happiest moment in your life?

I watched Montel today, it was subject on Cults and the abuse that went on. No mention of JW cult though, that I saw. It involved other religious cults. It was awful listening to what happened to those children.

me and my pioneer partner used to play a game while going door to door (we were obviously bored).
in our rural territory, we had a lot of time between doors to make things up, so various games evolved.
just about the naughtiest was to give your partner a word which they had to use at all costs in their presentation.. this started out as 'kingdom' and 'jesus' but soon became 'tractor', 'dog' and then even 'honda 250' and so on.
I shoke like a leaf, I hated going door to door, I was way to shy, and tried to hide behind everyone else.
ive done some pretty stupid things in my time but i think the prize had to go to the time i was 14, out shopping and desperate for a cigarette..... i went into a secluded cafe so there was less chance of being spotted and was relieved to find that there was only one other couple in there.
i sat down with my coffee and confidently lit up, casually asking the guy on the next table to pass the ashtray.. next week i was hauled in front of the elders for smoking and found to my dismay that the guy sat next to me was a ministerial servant who recognised me from being on the last assembly programme giving my experiences!.
oops!
I was down, depressed and angry at something I found out an elder did that was wrong, so I said to hell with it, I had a smoke. The stupid thing was I told a sister I had one, she snitched on me, and I ended up at a committee meeting. Meanwhile this sister who snitched on me was caring on with a wordly fellow and trying to hide it from everyone. I was the witness to that, but kept my mouth shut.
