Would you forget it ALL if you could?
by Perfection Seeker inif you could "bump your head" and forget all the crap that came with being a witness, would you?
but, in some way, i think i have grown from the experience & have learned from it, and it has made me be a better personl, less judgemental, more tolerant, more open.
but, if there was a magic pill to erase it- hmm......hell yes i'd do it!

Biblical grounds for reinstatement?
by Haereticus inno i am not even contenplating of pleading for it.. i was reading pay attention to and i paid attention to 2 cor.
2:6,7 which were about the only next to appropriate verses quoted for the purpose.
reading around the verses (not normally recommended for dubs) did not assure me that those verses apply to reinstatement.

the 'NEW LIGHT'
by bad_associashun inconsidering the past beliefs of jws & the new & improved current beliefs, some changes i can recall are: the cross, smoking, what is actually 'porneia', the end --->1914, no wait... 1935... we mean 1975... well what we really meant was by y2k... by the time this generation passes away, yada, yada.... also blood issues, organ doning, who will & won''t be resurrected- what others can you all think of?.
my question is this: if jws are led by god's spirit & the org is the true channel god is using, why did the 'light' need to get brighter?
why was is it wrong in the first place?.

by invisible inok, we're all used to seeing the annual report in the yearbook etc of the societies so called increases in certain countries and lands.
is there any way to independently authenticate the wt claims as true or not?.

Mind Control Techniques and Jehovah's Witnesses
by Lady Lee inmost of the original research on mind control comes from studies done not on religious groups but rather on chinese re-education techniques used on dissident chinese and political prisoners during the 1950s.
robert j. lifton wrote "thought reform and the psychology of totalism" (1961; new york: w. w. norton).
he was studying the process and effects of mind control techniques on individuals.

by zenpunk ini always hear at least two stories a year about someone i know who's left the "truth" goes back despite the trauma surrounding their departure.
this morning i heard yet another story.
a few years ago and elder's wife in my former uk congregation abruptly left the organization, surprising everyone and getting a big df in the process.

News in KM , dfd,
by happy man in.
we have a bigg artikel in km abot our wuie on how to treat them in diffrent situations, not so much new things, but they confirm this harder treatment on dfd, as we have 1981.. not so happy for this, i think it is a bigg misstake to dont take this occasion to change to some more loving wuie.i can not follow why they do like this perhaps they are draw this to the end of the lione, but who are take the punnish for this, if not the averge jw, who i think dont like this so very much.. so i can not follow who they think, perhaps we have wolfs among us, who hurt ther members.. .

Emotional Blackmail and JWs
by Lady Lee inemotional blackmail is a form of controlling one person to gets ones needs met.
a blackmailer may use direct or indirect threats against us to get what they want regardless of our opinions or feelings.
the one great threat is: if you dont behave the way i want you to, i will make your life miserable.
