One thing I would like to say is will the union jack be changed because the Scottish flag is incorpreted in it. If the union jack is changed will we change our Australian flag because the union jack is in our flag? Even Hawawi has the union jack also Fiji and many other commonwealth countries.

Gday all, I have been an SDA for most of my life and could give some insight to clear things up here. The SDAs don't shun or disfellowship.
The belief of SDAs is at the second comming of christ the church is taken to heaven the earth is destroyed burnt and becomes hell for the wicked. SDAs do believe in hell but not an everlasting hell. After a thousand years the earth is recreated into a paradice earth and repopulated by the faithful from heaven.
The reason I left the church is because of the 1844 doctrine too complicated to explain here for lack of time at the moment also the role of Ellen g White in the church is promoted by some as being very cultic. Not all Adventists believe these doctrines and i for one openly dissagreed with some of their teachings without any consequences. The SDAs are at present have conflicts over womens ordination, homosexuality and evolution which is taught in some of their universities.
My family and I now attend the Anglican church which is closer to what I have believed as a christian.
Personally I have no preferences for one church or denomination over another except I would decide the suitability of another church after a few visits. I would even go to another SDA church if I believed it was a good church that had an evangelical outlook Barry

A Mormon becomes a JW in the Feb 2013 Watchtower...
by cedars inglancing through the feb 2013 "public" watchtower edition, an interesting article appears on page 8.. here is the pdf download link.... http://www.jw.org/download/?fileformat=pdf&issue=20130201&output=html&pub=wp&langwritten=e&option=trgchlzrqvnyvrxf&txtcmslang=e.
it's interesting how, in the story, the young man's jw aunt and uncle switch him from mormonism to the jw faith using third-party material (the nov 8, 1995 awake!
article), and he ends up becoming a jw after confirming on the official mormon website that the claims in the awake!

Growing up in the SDA church I remember two hymns with the name Jehovah in the title 'Before Jehovah's awful throne' and 'Guide me o thou great Jehovah' . Many other hymns have the name Jehovah in the words of the hymn. Of course most Hymns have Jesus name.

Whatever happened to the "Fall of Babylon the Great" and the "drying up of the churches?
by villagegirl ini am from the era of the babylon book, and all the wt predictions that the churches of christendom would "dry up".
the book babylone the great has fallen god's kingdom rules, said people would leave the churches of christendom, in droves and the ministers would have no more people in their churches while "god's organization" would see a tremendous increase, a huge overflowing great crowd, all streaming into the watchtower and coming to the "faithful and discreet slave" for instructions.
thirty years ago there were six million jw's , today after the "great increase", and " great crowd" is now ?

Why do Christian nations think they can assimilate Muslims into their communities , does Islam attempt to assimilate Christians in their communities ?
by smiddy inislam /muslims today are what christianity was centuries ago , the two beleif systems are like oil and water , not to be mixed .
christians are not tolerated spreading their infectious disease amongst muslims, in islamic countrys , and harsh penalties apply for them doing so in muslim countries , including the death penalty.
stonings , whippings etc.. on the other hand christian nations are very tolerant of muslim extremists who incite hatred and violence on their own territory , and they get a slap on the wrist and say dont do it again .

The video has a whole group of muslim people all put up their hands to say they are moderate muslims not fanatics but they all put up their hands in agreement for capitol punishment for apostasy and other crimes requiring the death penalty by the Quoran

Gday Listener,
The SdAs don't dissfellowship your right about that but to many peoples dissmay Dr Ford lost his job and after that happened and I quote 'It doesn't pay to be right too early in the game"
The other theologans including Cottrell faired well.
Des got a job in an independant ministry 'Good News Unlimited' but is still invited to SDA churches to speak such as the one above. Some SDAs are poles apart with him on theology but still have respect for him as a christian brother others regard him as total apostate while the lunatic fringe accuse him of being a Catholic Jesuit infiltrator.
It depends on what faction the SDA member is in as to there support or dissaproval of a particular person and their theology.
