  i was df bout a year back and have since been enlightened by a life long friend.

  i am leaning toward returning anyway but mostly for familyand friends.

  i recognize the hypocrisy of this move but also don't feel that i should be subject to there authority and in my current state i am.

  Why is the Victim Always Wrong?

  i lurked here for about 6 or 7 months, before i started posting.. i have read experience after experience in which the victim of gossip, slander, abuse in the congregation is the one who is made to feel like they are the ones who need to apologize, when they are the ones that need the apology from the perpetrators of the injustice.. .

  one theme that continues to repeat itself in the congregation is this: the victim is always wrong and the victimizer is always right.

  It's part of maintaining the fiction that everything is perfect in 'God's orgainzation', and that those who are regular in attendance and service would never do anything wrong. Even when the Victim is NOT considered spiritually weak, the fact that they brought up the issue makes them uncomfortable (doesn't jibe with beliefs, things like that don't happen in God's organization), so it's easier to blame the victim than confront the facts. Anyway that's my take on it.

  also I think the JWs need to have unity at any costs, so it's like a wolf pack mentality shun the weak(victim) stick with the stronger pack.

  My Part in Apostate History

  i went to my local library to find in search of christan freedom by ray franz.they didn't have it.so i asked if they could try to get it from another library for me.they took my name and address and phone number and told me i would get something in the mail when they got it.. .

  i got a letter for them last week telling me it was in.i went yeasterday to pick it up.i was happly supprized to find out they had bought it from amazon .com.now it will be in the library system for others to read.i'm planning on doing the same for c of c.if they don't buy that one i'm going to donate my copy to them.this is my little part to help others who have questions and want to read up on jw's.. .

  i know it's a small part and all i did was ask.boy am i proud.

  My territory is the laundry mat next to the Chinese Restrauant I like. I go in and throw away most of the old Wt and Aw, except for a few that I leave 'example of cult propaganda' stickers on.

  Go forth christian warrior!! battling cult devices while battling soiled laundry.

  we wrote our da letter, mailed off a copy to the society & put the other copy in the drop box at the kh yesterday.

  the elders had called us every day from saturday through tuesday wanting us to come in to meet....so they could df us i'm sure & probably at tonight's meeting mind you.

  funny thing......after dropping off our letter yesterday before service time started, we received no phone call last night.

  they hate each other with a passion and have been desperate for a divorce for years.
