  Anyone Know About The PA Convention?

  i had "met" a few gals when i first left the wts (seven years ago) who talked about this convention....one was from western ny....but i have since lost touch with them and lost their email addies years ago.

  Is this the "Witnesses for Jesus Now" Convention? What a whinefest, went once many years ago, walked out. hundreds of people WHHHIIIIIIINNNIIIINNNNGGGG, about the Watchtower, "boo hoo, look what the Society did to meeeeeeeeeeee.... waahhhhhh!"

  At least no one who attends the WNFJ convention is still belivieng that CTR is the FDS. None of us has reverted to a beginning of "nothingness."

  With all do respect.......has any of your "Dawn" events had as many "happy" and congenial people as WNFJ or any other XJW get together?

  WNFJ.......

  My best friend Gold_Morning who use to post here on JWD is the first testimony on Saturday. She is kind of nervous, but she will do just great. She is the loveliest woman in the world. Sure wish I could be there.

  But..............I'm going to try and get a room in one of the local communities if I can. If I do............I will be there and hope to see some of you...........especially Mouthy.

  i was reading a little coc last night where ray f. disusses the witch hunt at bethel that resulted in all the oustings.

  as i read the doctrines that he questioned, (not judging him right or wrong), i noticed that he was questioning some of the fundamental beliefs of the wt.

  Yeah Mary...........that's it!

  The one and only funeral talk I gave was about 1990 and the outline you posted was it.

  But I did it a little differently and added a lot of GOOD stuff that made the "worldly" family take notice and show appreciation as to how she was loved by so many.

  In the talk at the funeral home and the cemetery..........I emphasised mostly about her previous life and how her family and friends loved all the good things she did.

  At that time........her son was my best friend. I was just an elder. I say it that way because being an elder is NOT conducive to being someones BEST friend........after all........you have to be loyal to the company.

  I really miss Ken and Linda since they moved from the Pittsburgh area to Arizona.

  Hey..........Ken and Linda.............if you are reading this...........you know who I am. Please get in touch.

  i started seeing some connections on my own between illuminati and what i heard when i was at the meetings when i was younger.

  Please! Not this subject again.

  What you have "stumbled" across is passe! Absolutely no connection whatsoever in the real sense of things. This subject has been hashed and rehashed so many times here that it is nothing but fodder.

  Yes........it is very interesting for the person who never associated it before, but in the end.......the evidence is flawed and has no bearing whatsoever on how and why the WT Society.....AKA the Governing Body (from the very beginning to those now who are ruling the roost) does what they 'does' and why they 'does' it.

  This kind of thinking and commenting is no better than the RIGHT wing and LEFT wing conspiracy theorists understanding of what is happening in the world today.

  The WT Society is nothing but a drop in the bucket to those who are doing the actual ruling. Anyone who thinks that the WT is part of the illuminati......the bilderbergers.......skull and bones........or whatever other conspiracy are grasping at straws.

  My suggestion to you and anyone else who subscribes to this BS is to start living a real life.

  Keep this in mind: THE BEST REVENGE IS A LIFE WELL LIVED. A life totally separated from your past as a JW.

  Life is beautiful away from the WT......start living........and live grand.

  If Money Were No Object, What Hobby(s) Would You Pursue?

  i'd probably have a pretty well stocked backyard machine shop, complete with lathe(s), milling machine, welding gear, etc.

  i'm a fitter and turner by trade, so it kind of makes sense...

  Stephanus............that would really be great. I'm a journeyman machinist myself (retired). But instead of a machine shop, I would have one fantastic wood shop like the guy on public TV. I think it is the New Yankee Woodshop.

  I have a pilot's license which I have not been able to keep current due to a lack of money - so I'd fly, keep myself really well trained, and collect a few airplanes.

  Seeker4...............same here! I haven't flown since just before 9/11 when a C-152 cost me $39.00 to $42.00 an hour. Now the same plane is $87.00 an hour. Just can't afford it!

  During WW II, Japanese Americans were sent to dention camps. They lost their businesses and homes. It didn't matter if there were four generations with the first one coming to the U.S. 100 years ago and they had no ties whatsoever to Japan. They were put behind barb wire anyway. Once the war was over they had to fend for themselves and start over. Now I'm not sure if any of their property was returned to them or not. However, I do know a Japanese American who is now about 81 years old who joined the U.S. Army at the time. He didn't even speak Japanese.......nor did his parents who had a business that they were taken from and incarcerated. After the war, they were not given anything back at all. To this day, my friend George (Japanese last name) still has some bitterness about it but he went on with his life and is still a proud American. In my opinion, what happened to them was a disgrace It never should have happened, but it was the fear and mindset of the time. It was WAR!

  Now.....today..... we have Arab Americans experiencing just a fraction of the distrust that was shown to the Japanese Americans and some bleeding hearts are complaining. It's a shame that INNOCENT Arabs have to put up with this type of bullshyte, but it is a fact of life that this is going to continue here in the U.S. Who knows when something will happen and the government find out that many Mosques in this country are hiding places for weapons?

  So far....other than Timothy McVay and a couple of other domestic terrorists........the largest problem has been the bombing and killing......not only in the U.S., but also in Europe........by middle eastern terrorists who happen to be Muslim. Since that is the case, none of them in this country on a green card should have a right to wear what our citizens might consider offensive, nor even the right to question those in authority who question them.

  Have they or any of their Imams condemned the actions of their fellow believers? One of these days, a family member or membors of all the bleeding hearts will be killed by these type of people. When that day comes, let's see if they still think the same.

  Remember..........it is still WAR and it all sucks!

  (keep in mind we live 2 blocks apart).

  Met, dated, and fell in love with the "love of my life" right here on JWD two years ago.

  It didn't work out. BUT........we are still very good friends and keep in touch a lot. It all worked out for the best.

  I think after being alone for 10 years, I would probably make a lousy husband anyway.
