Quick Introduction
by Nocturne ini've been lurking here for a few months now, and i've been wanting to post for awhile now but i've never really been up to it.
i first stumbled upon the information about the wtbts being an ngo for 10 years in september, and ever since i've been finding out about all the other things the society has been up to.
as of now, i'm still going to the meetings, but now my eyes have been truly opened, and i can see things in a whole new perspective, and it's amazing the deception that's going on in the organization.

Blond Joke
by Meg inas a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde catches up.
she jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door.
the trucker lowers the window, and she says "hi, my name is heather and you are losing some of your load.".

Grandma's Letter
by Meg ingrandma's letter.
> > >the other day i went up to a local christian bookstore and saw a honk if you love jesus bumper sticker.. > > >i was feeling particularly sassy that day because i had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting, so i bought the sticker and put in on my bumper.. > > >i was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the lord and how good he is and i didn't notice that the light had changed.. > > >it is a good thing someone else loves jesus because if he hadn't honked, i'd never have noticed.. > > >i found that lots of people love jesus.
why, while i was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and when he leaned out of his window and screamed, "for the love of god, go!

Being Theocratic Before Meetings
by Nosferatu inone thing that my mother was trying to instill in me was to be "theocratic" before the meetings.
many times i would drive me and my mother to the meetings while listening to "wreckx-n-effect" or "ac/dc".
she would usually give me hell for this and told me i should listen to kingdom melodies to get my mind prepared for the meeting.. another "problem" was the conversations that went on before meetings (or even on field service) where me and someone else my age would be talking about something completely unrelated to the "truth".

Sending "Love" from the Platform
by RubaDub ini have never been able to understand the "the brothers from xyz cogregation are sending their love" at the end of a public talk.. it always seemed to occur when the speaker was from a far-away place.
then, we all have to clap when he rhetorically asks "do you want to send our love to them?".
they never seem to do it when it is a near-by congregation .. only one far away.
