Blindingly Obvious - But Not to J.W.'s
by The Searcher inif a fellow j.w.
asked a publisher/pioneer/missionary j.w., "how are your hours this month", they will gladly reveal how many hours they've racked up "for jehovah.".
now ask them, "how much money have you contributed to kingdom interests this month", they'd look at you as if you were beelzebub himself, and tell you that that was "personal.

How are your hours this month?
Matt 6:3,4
That would make a nice roadside sign on the way to the KH or Assembly.
Hmmmmm.....

That phrase angers me.
They have the softer version, too:
Listen , obey and be blessed. -

I'm not so sure a bigger awakening is going to happen anymore
by bradford inwhen i left in march officially i started reading the forums here.
i had this excitement that more people would be leaving soon because of the crazy broadcasts, the crazy "new light" that the gb was dishing out, and more recently the australian royal commission lighting up geoffrey.
this past saturday i had an elder stop by to chat for the first time since i left.

I think there will be snowball effect. TTATT will not stay a "secret",
The bottom will fall out.
Think about this: The 25-55 crowd are watching the very ones that "taught them the truth" die before there eyes. Parents, grandparents and older friends. They all know that none of these people "were supposed to die".
I think this one component will get people sniffing around the internet and the forums.
When millions that were living, have now died, some will accept reality for what it is.The internet genie is out of the bottle, so to to speak, so asking the JWs to stop using the internet is impossible with all of the JW,ORG hype.
There must be a rather large percentage of JWS that must be just be too scared or confused to act. On the other hand, if you are used to "waiting on Jehovah" all your life, why would any of this shake you now?
I'm hoping mass exodus

This is so sad.
I mentioned the fact that JWs are not a charity regarding this fire.
I was told the local BOEs called to make sure the JWs were accounted for.
How is that charity? That's just what "friends" should do when they know there is a need.

Today I got a review that left me scratching my head - what do you make of it?
by Brock Talon inas a published author on amazon, i'm used to getting negative reviews from time to time.
it goes with the territory and i'm ok with it.
writing is an art form, so no art is liked by everyone.

Going Nuclear - Marriage
by Sofia Lose inhas anyone here gone nuclear on their spouse and, all of a sudden, came out in the open as a jw opposer?.
by this i mean, sitting them down and saying: i no longer want to be a jw anymore, do not want to go to meetings or preaching anymore!
and, what has happened in the relationship after that?.

My wife and I are still together.
I went nuclear.
Admitted apostasy and DF'd in absentia.
Yet, we are still together. She attends all the meetings and prepares her lessons.
I will never set foot in a KH again. It's not easy, but marriage is hard work.
