Does anyone here collect classic cars?
by kls inif you do what kind do you have ?do you take them to shows?
we have a 1968 dodge charger,1969 roadrunner and a 1970 dodge challenger.
there is nothing like the old cars with the big motors and loud exhaust.

Organ donation?
by xenawarrior ini know i read that at one time organ donation was something forbidden and then after a while it became a conscience matter for jw's.
(someone correct me if i'm wrong please).
i was watching a television show last week about a very interesting triple liver transplantation involving "live donors".

Russell's reason for using the Winged Sun Symbol?
by VM44 indoes anyone know why charles rusell put the "winged egyptian sun disc" symbol on the covers of his studies in the scriptures?.
particularly, did russell ever explain in writing the reason for his using it?.

Which One Lie Hurt You The Most About Jehovahs Witnesses?

my number one thing is finding out that the name "jehovah" was not in the bible like it was in the new world translation (tm).
christians did not call god "jehover" "jehovah" or by his first name, no more than you would call your father by his first name when you were a child.

Great Dinner Last Night In Seattle!
by codeblue injust a quick "thank you" for all that showed up at tony roma's last night.. mr. cb and i had a great time meeting all of you!
it was a wonderful experience to put the "face" with the poster.. to any of you out there that have never attended a meetup---please do not hesitate on going.
it is worth the effort.

What was your excuse for skipping meetings?

i always said my knee hurt, or i was sick, or too tired (i'd always make it a point to stay up till like 4:00 am on saturday nite)....
