  Trying to get to know people on the JWD

  i havent been here that long, and just trying to get to know a little more about the people im chatting with.

  i know some dont want to share too much info, which i understand.

  so.............im divorced, have 3 kids, lived in florida for 15 years, now back home in wi.

  Pets ?No ... but if I was leaving on the first floor I would have a cat for sure,

  My dream ?A log house in the country with a rocking chair - a computer with ADSL - a warehouse full of pepsi - my son from time to time for a good talk and laugh - a BBQ in the backyard and weed everywhere to enjoy with friends and and and a lover once in a while for the goodies - Peace on earth ... Voilà ! (but I guess Peace is too much to ask on a large scale).

  i have had all the answers i need to make a firm decision.

  thank you so much everyone for your replies, for talking to me over the last few weeks and for some of the humour.. i believe the jws are right and that they have the truth.

  fortunatly I don't, also I only have one life and certainly more interesting things to do than believing bullshit, following stupid rules, workshiping 30 hours minimum a week an organisation wich is screewing people heads and lifes.

  You like it ... fine ... there must be a reason ... But please forget about witnessing that WTBS is right (PLEASE !!! that's insulting us and lying to those who don't know) ... Cause YOU KNOW or you haven't checked to be able to witnessing objectively.

  In fact by now if you have really checked you know more than you should know to get back into it - You won't be able to tell God that you were not aware (what would you answer they were acting wrong but I thought they were right ?) ... Now ... Where following the WTBS will lead you and the once you love towards you ? To God ? Are you sure ?

  This organisation have been guilty of doing the same things as those it is used to blame (associating in many ways even war business - but lest you forget about the peodophile paradise it does represent all over the world - and of course the multiple false prophesies and false interpretations of scriptures and history facts) ... If you still don't know, maybe it's time to go futher on it before to just go back to the box, and if you think that all those things they are guilty of are just normal, well : What have you checked in all angle exactly ? ...

  i've been smoking since i quit being a witness.

  i smoked for a week when i was 15, i quit when i started studying.

  my "smoking" then was only a few cigarettes, i was by no means addicted.

  as i told kl, i'm not sabotaging her thread, mine has a twist, for example, my wife 'descibes' me best by always reminding that i'm not 'normal.

  ' this means i do things differently than the ordinary person as i'm into many activities.

  many of these activities involve people.

  I don't know if I understood the exercice exactly, but from an other topic this question following, it came out like this :

  I'm passionate, I have no patience when it's about something that really is important to me, pleasure and inner peace is somehow what I'm looking for. inner peace doesn't mean that I'm not ready to fight ... I do ... If I need/want to. I have a very lonesome nature, I need lot of time for : dreaming, ressourcing myself, and having fun (my way) and with others any way, I'm very curious (about any kind of processes from the why to the what), I'm physicall when I'm playing, mental when I'm serious, and stupid from time to time and more over when too much feelings gets in the way.

  over the years i've learned to extract the good out of bad situations and it has given me a different perspective on life.

  Oh I like to do a lot of things (traveling, hiking, camping, ... , computing, learning, sharing ... playing playing playing ... of course). I was thinking about immigrate lately and wondered why exactly all of the sudden ? where ? And what I would need to get there ?

  I do plan lots of things that interest me, but I'm used to want things when I can have them (before they are dreams and they can stay dreams as a way to be satisfied till I have opportunities to make them happen) So I don't get frustrated (and I give up pretty quick, not now means not now ... my limits) ...I'm very passionate and NOT patient AT ALL (those are few of my biggest weaknesses) so I'd better be ready and know exactly what I want before I want it for good. Also I think I'm very lazy in lots of matters ... just because they are not motivating enough to me, so am I really interested then ? no motivation = no action = lazy in the area ... (but I've though about it - and I know why I'm not that interested and won't have the feeling of missing something).
