I agree with all of the above and wanted to add the drummer from Cheap Trick I always thought was pretty solid.

Lars Ulrich . Metalica . There's no doubt that Neil Peart is the #1 worlds greatest drummer on my list . Jon Bonham was a really great drummer . I'd also have to agree about Dave Grohl and also throw Vinnie Paul in there somewhere from Pantera . Tommy Lee is also an excellent drummer .

Bun E. Carlos is and was the drummer of Cheap Trick. I saw them back in their heyday as well as about a year ago in a local club. They're still great and the band is intact with all the original members.
